The fraud is horrible, they should go to jail for it. But honestly, at the end of the day, the thing that really stokes my fire is the amount of beautiful cards that somehow made it this far only to get ruined by some scumbag so he could make $120.

That makes me want to punch people in the face.

The people hacking up these cards and selling them care as little about their customers as drug dealers. The difference is, they pretend to. I can't even imagine the lack of conscience involved in recommending a collector buy a card (hi Brent, e.g.) or extolling its virtues, knowing full well it's altered.

Corndog and the rest of BODA - thanks for your continued hard work in uncovering these doctored cards. I'm sure PSA and others would be more than happy to sweep this whole sordid affair under the rug. Thanks for keeping the heat on.

Yes, thank you!

It's so many hours of hard work, for which your only compensation is the satisfaction of outing these blatant criminals. And with eBay's idiotic measures that protect the people committing the fraud, we realize this is no easy task.

It is so important to keep the heat on, because you KNOW PSA will deny, deflect, and sweep it under the rug, the very minute that the exposure of these cards begins to slow down. Bottom line... We appreciate you to no end!

Before the Recent Global Authority "Blackballs" this person, has that person had a response for his behalf ? ? ?

I'll wait till I know both sides of this situation. That is my take on how order should be created.

My opinion

Another day. Another thread about trimmed cards. I’m glad I don’t like vintage.

Unfortunately, the only thing that needed trimming on that Wally Moon were those eyebrows.

Apparently you’ve missed the many threads with altered modern cards?

Modern may likely be altered more...it’s just harder to match the “before” image because of the general lack of visible card fibers.

I don’t visit here every day. But when I do I see a lot more threads of vintage trimmed cards than modern. When I open packs of modern cards, the condition is usually pretty good. Not with corners beat to hell or rough edges like the few vintage cards I do have.

Be afraid about how many trimmed Mike Trout cards exist.

Are you saying there’s less reason to grade modern?

Of course not. I don’t know why you would even think that.
