i remember always seeing it as a top card in Tuff Stuff and Sports Cards Magazine back in the late 90s and always wanted to own it especially after seeing him 20k the killer Bs.

I buy $75 worth of junk wax packs every six weeks or so and rip a pack a day. I whip an old issue of Beckett out to see how I do each pack.

I buy a lot of IP signed cards of Cleveland guys I enjoyed watching. This entire segment of my collection pretty much fits under nostalgia.

I think the most I've spent on a card knowing damn well it isn't worth nearly as much to anyone else on the planet was this slabbed Manny Ramirez auto:


All things considered, it cost me close to $150 to acquire. Manny was the first player I collected as a kid and this card (albeit not signed) was what started my Ramirez collection after pulling the insert from a pack back in '95.
