Some people still havent even gotten a tracking number while some others received extras in hand 3 weeks ago, including people who have received the extras, send back out silver redemptions, and received the silvers back.

For those who want to know, 130 point toploaders are a good fit for the bronze metal cards:

I have a minor quibble with the bronze. In the fully colored cards, anyone can easily make out that Bruce Banner has a mushroom cloud behind him and most fans can make out that Banner's probably in that early phase of transforming into the Hulk.

In the bronze, that detail completely disappears, mainly in my opinion, because the contrast is lost since there is no color. It just looks like some small dude yelling into Hulk's crotch. Hulk also looks less angry in the bronze. I think it's the eyes.

I know it's a nitpick, but that slight difference makes all the difference.

Agree about the detail lost. I chalk it up to it's just a different medium and probably really hard replicate a painting of all things into a 3d bronze card. Everything taken into consideration, I think it's a pretty solid effort. But I can also understand also how people, e.g. card purists, would not care for the bronze cards.

Colorized Spider Man sold for $537. That kind of surprises me as that is more than a 2016 #90 can go for.

I chalk it up to newness, novelty, and also apparently 25 made (not sure if that’s correct or not) vs 99 MM16 Spideys. Not a bad profit, especially if the seller was a first tier backer.

Yeah, they've traditionally been pretty awful, especially when the card is attempting to replicate a photographic image. Look at this horrific Nolan Ryan Bronze card from Topps Stadium Club.

This was a bonus for the charter members of that baseball related club in 1991. The production run was mammoth, but it's more likely the grotesquerie of the card itself that keeps the value of it less than $5 some 30+ years down the line.

Haha wow.

FPG ones looking pretty decent all things considered.

You could probably even extend this to bronze statues, as sometimes they dont resemble the subject very well.

I got the standard metal Hulk and the bonus was a Bronze Hulk.

Thanks again FPG!

Well glad to see some OA art backers are getting theirs. I have a relative who backed OA round 2…no tracking number, no package. There were only 20 people in the OA round 2, and others have got tracking a week+ ago. Im wondering if he’s not gonna get anything.

Has anyone received an extras package out of the blue and never got a tracking email? I thought I remember reading that happened to someone but just wanted to confirm if anyone had that happen.

Also I found the answer to my question above. There is a colorized Hulk bronze (not talking the 1/1 color metals, but a full color bronze like the spidey and psylocke). At least this what I think I’m seeing based on a backers comment in update #18.

This project unfortunately is continuing to be frustrating. It is so hard to get a dialogue going when a different person responds to your question each time, and doesnt really address it in the brief response.

Has anyone else who is not international not received either the extras package or a tracking number? Seems like everyone has, and yet still waiting, wondering if it's even going to be sent at this point. If you backed the tier that includes the bronze cards, and simply dont receive it...what even happens then? Saw a few comments on the kickstarter page complaining about what they got as an extra- try not getting anything, either extras or the basic part of the pledge you backed.

My package is in limbo and hasn't moved since the 19th. I am afraid it has fallen into the infamous NY postal black hole.

which leads to the follow-on of people who swapped or sold their OA pledge, yet FPG apparently doesn't have a mechanism to update the pledge roster such that the delayed portions can be directed to the new owner.

Admittedly, this is not nearly as bad as not getting everything due for one's pledge, but the market has shown that these extras, and certainly the books with 'custom slipcovers for each OA' have value in and of themselves.

Im just getting worried about this pledge (it's actually a family member's, not mine, but now Im going to feel bad since I brought this whole project to their attention, they drop $2800+, and dont even get what they pledged for). It's still early I think, but the lack of any shipment/tracking is worrisome since Im pretty sure OA round 2's either got a tracking a week ago or package in hand by now.
