Well they posted the reason for the Zombie Psylockes.
he ZOMBIE cards were designed by some very cool special needs friends of ours. They came up with the idea of tearing a chunk of her hair out, burning her eyebrows off, rotting and puffing up her lips, etc. And they chose 6 different colors and we then limited them to 100 of each color. We think they did a great job. Put some fun out there for a good reason, and make them super limited too!

I saw the psylocke silver redemption card sold for 1600 on ebay. That’s like 10x melt value if I’m not mistaken. I’m not sure exactly how that works either with just a redemption card (no code or anything)…whether you can just transfer it like that and FPG sends it to the new person. Seems like it’d make more sense to just redeem it first then sell it.

Safe to assume, you can sell the bronze cards for more money than you paid for the book. And that makes the book free, for your wait?

received my plain white box today. Somewhat disappointed, though how can one be disappointed with an extra?, that as an OA2 backer, I received a Hulk card and Hulk bronze.
Disappointed mainly in the idea that some folks upthread received three!! bronze doorstops, assuming they only pledged once and at a level lower than OA though I don't know what levels everybody pledged at. @DynaEtch - my search fu is failing me - didn't we see guesstimated mintages somewhere earlier in this thread? Glad you got the extra in hand. Hulk is a nice one, and being the rarest of the regular bronze has that going for it.
I know us backers have thoughts of the silver/gold ones dancing in our head, but Im thinking more about the numbers involved, 46 of maybe 2000 are silver or gold, and it's like a 1 in 50 chance, so far-fetched. So this is the reality for nearly all, including what looks like all the people ITT so far. I was confused a bit by the structuring of the tiers also, but yea the rewards arent cumulative up the list, the painting itself being the reward for OA tier. Hopefully they will come through with the 1/1 slipcover for each painting backed book, that'll be really cool. Edit: just saw your question- for regular bronze, 400 Hulks, 600 Psylockes, 800 Spideys. The Zombie psylockes were separate.

Someone in the comments section expressed their surprise at the sheer number of these hitting ebay, but I kinda saw that coming. At these solid prices, they will pay back for the lower two pledges pretty easily.
What is surprising to me is the low number of silvers or Hulk/Spidey 1/1's popping up. Maybe in the silver case people are waiting for redemptions, but I think most people have their packages by now, and I've seen maybe just 3 of the 45 silvers total on the bay so far. So I guess people are holding them. No reports of the gold spidey yet to my knowledge (perhaps a hope to those international buyers still waiting on theirs!....but just as likely the owner already has it and is staying under the radar).

I would imagine whoever got the gold will either slap it in a safe deposit box or arrange for an auction with Goldin/Heritage.
Stay anonymous either way.

If we translate the one sale I've seen of a silver at ~10x melt, that would be up to 140k for the spidey gold, but I know you cant just do it that way. Either way I think it's worth a lot more than even 14k. Quote:
And get the book and digest yet on top of that. Im digging these full color bronze and actually waiting for a hulk to surface, dont think I've seen one yet.

My relative got the extras from his pledges, props to FPG, they came through and sent everything he pledged for. Some pretty cool ones
![]() ![]() ![]() I don’t feel as bad now for bringing the project to his attention, I think he owes me now Anyway…looks like no news of the gold, which isn’t surprising. Still thought we’d see more of the silvers hit the market by now though. If anyone sees a colored Hulk bronze like the above Spidey let me know.

It is pretty odd that no Hulk colored bronze cards have surfaced yet -- I've seen multiple of both the Spidey and Psylocke. Perhaps it was short-printed or not printed at all -- I know it's eating away at you just thinking about it, Dyna lol.
BTW -- do you think it's safe to keep the colored ones in one touches? They look condition sensitive -- I've seen plenty of ink chipping on the ones posted on eBay. |

I’m taking it that it was the first 20ish of the bronze print run that was colorized. So would make sense to do it for the Hulk low #s as well. I agree they seem condition sensitive. Heck all these bronze, not only the color, seem a bit condition sensitive, some arriving with minor flaws and chips. But I think one touches should be fine, as long as the bronze isn’t moving around in it much. Personally I think the one touches are the best way to display them. I am using 180pt and indeed it is a bit large for the bronze, but seems to work ok. I didn’t try a 130pt yet, not sure if that would fit it. I still am amazed eBay AG is authenticating these. The several ones I bought all went through and passed. (These aren’t even really ‘cards’). As a seller might be wise to list as Excellent just in case, since there can be imperfections even just the way it came.

Possible I might have been the buyer
Yea it’s weird, other ones I got actually went through eBay AG and got authenticated, including a colorized bronze Spidey (more on that in a sec). But yea double checking now it does look like ebays message for the psylocke is they passed it through as miscategorized (literally no different than the spidey). All the ones I bought were in Nonsports trading card singles, so that didn’t change. It’s almost as if they randomly passed some and others said miscategorized, or they just don’t know what they are doing.Tbh the eBay AG aspect of this means nothing to me. It’s not like there is question about authenticity with these bronze cards. Even condition doesn’t mean much to me on these, given they all came with flaws- they aren’t cards with sharp corners, they are kinda rough, heavy bronze slabs. It’s not about condition. eBay AG miscategorizing or not is a not issue for me as a buyer. Something to keep in mind as a seller though I suppose.

Spidey color bronze:
![]() Psylocke color bronze: ![]() eBay has them the same day, within a couple hours. One they authenticated and the other they said was miscategorized. Both were listed in same category. Conclusion is they don’t know what they are doing/randomly doing it to some and not others. Or maybe after they authenticated the Spidey they decided they were not going to authenticate them anymore. Whatever it is, it’s not consistent.

Psylocke colored metal came today (not sure if it was yours, could have been! And if it was, thank you).
2 down….(possibly) 1 to go? Still waiting for a Hulk sighting. ![]() So I mentioned more on the spidey in a sec. Here’s what happened with that. I went ahead and bought it on eBay, FOMO if you will, wasn’t cheap over $600. Then after this, wouldn’t you figure, my relative finally got the extras package and……it had a Spidey color bronze as the extra (what are the chances). He is not the collector I am of this stuff, so I would have ended up getting it off him….but now I am smh’ing that I bought the one before waiting to see what his extras were. So now he’ll probably end up selling his.

Also have been working on this zombie set and last one came in today. I thought it was a cool and fun concept before FPG said anything about the origins of them, but now learning how they included others for the inspiration of them, I like it even more.
I’m not sure how many other people are even buying and collecting the extras in general (seems like a lot are selling), but I’m slowly trying to chip away at them and build up a small collection. Probably paid inflated FOMO prices for these but it is what it is. Also there is just enough room for a sleeved bronze card to fit in a 180-pt one touch. A regular ultra pro penny sleeve does fit the bronze- tight as all heck, but I don’t think that matters and it does fit. ![]() As for the serial numbers on the Zombies matching which colors…no pattern is jumping out at me off the bat, have to look at that more.

My extras package hasn't moved for 10 days now and I am quite worried. I have contacted PPG to follow up with USPS and my fingers are crossed.

Ugh. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it soon. I have to think it’s just international being so delayed as usual, but yea 10 days is starting to sound like a lot.

And having posted that the package just showed up out of the blue!
No silver for me but for being a Tier 1 I am quite happy. Color Hulk #770 and Bronze Psylocke #599! So close to the Omega but no Zombies for me.

Silvers are so dang elusive. Psylocke bronze is a solid one, not bad at all considering the tier 1 buy in.
