HGA grading

This evening, I actually made it through for the second time out of maybe 10 tries. The first time I made it through (a couple of weeks ago), there was no "next" button for me to use to complete my order (this is a common problem). The canned response I got from their Customer Service about it was nonsensical.

But I was able to successfully put in for a 60 day order tonight. Nothing too crazy. Maybe one PC card. Others just to see their grading standards.

But without a doubt, people love the labels. CSG should keep that in mind. They seem to be much more into add on services than PSA and BGS. Custom labels for $10 extra could make a lot of sense,

Yikes! Just screams gimmick. Zero chance these labels hold up over time. And the labels are the only reason the majority is grading with them.

I believe that's a prototype for the upcoming player designed slabs. They mentioned those would be coming. If I'm not mistaken, they will be having pro-athletes introduce custom slabs while you are in the waiting room. I think there will be some sort of video playing or an interview.

They might be lining up now, but when the return on their investment is not there they will be dumping their slabs on people not in the know. What is a unique slab to one person will be a gimmick to others. There is a reason most companies have ONE brand look and the brand has a patent. I will say it again! FOR your PC, customize your slab, but fir long term return that custom slab will be junk to most buyers.

They are spending way too much time on their flip, but that is their niche, whether people admit it or not. I watched a YouTube video and the guy said people are overpaying for their slabs due to supply. Have people forgotten what happens to the price of most cards once supply goes up? Same will happen with these slabs!!

The Flipper crowd loves the fact you can get your cards graded in less than a year for a 1/4 of the price and make money within 45 days. Looks like the Thursday card count went up to 2,500 today.
The flippers besides having BOTS can probably figure out the lottery algorithms too.

Are you seriously so avidly anti-HGA that you don’t see a return on investment? No, they don’t sell for PSA 10 prices. Nobody thinks they do. Well maybe some, but nobody who had been in the game awhile.

But so far they consistently outsell BGS.

And guess what? HGA 9’s also consistently sell higher than PSA 9’s.

And you’re ignoring the part where they are much cheaper and much, much faster.

HGA added several new label concepts yesterday and you can order a Neutral match team/card label also, NBA cards look really good with the Color splash. IMO
