Well, that scum seems to know more about vaccine development than Fauci.

Fauci was right. The quote was misleading.

In the quotes I found from interviews Fauci gave back in February, he stated it would take a year to a year and a half for vaccines to be available and impact the pandemic, and that would be the fastest ever. At times, he stated vaccines could be developed quicker but testing, manufacturing, and distribution would take longer. He suggested a vaccine could be developed and approved by the end of the year but most Americans wouldn't be able to get it until sometime between March and June 2021.

So far, that's all on point, exactly correct.

Trump, on the other hand, started off by saying three to four months (which would've been July-ish). Clearly that didn't happen.

Fauci explained that the major hangup would be getting manufacturing going before an FDA approval, that companies wouldn't take that risk. That was the whole reason Warp Speed came into existence, to take the financial risk away from manufacturers and get it done faster. And yes, it was Fauci. Trump simply agreed and then took credit.

Bash Fauci if you want, but the man saved countless lives despite Trump, not because of him.
