If Wander isn't convicted of anything I doubt he's shunned by teams (like Bauer), but it's hard to see him winning MVPs (like Kobe). Maybe something in the middle, like Deshaun Watson?

Helmet makes it hard to tell but let’s say you’re right, what’s to say that girl in the pic isn’t 18-19 and looks young? Some people look younger than they are.

I’m 37 and still get Id’d to buy a lottery ticket, you just never know. Does it look suspect? Sure, but can’t just assume she’s underage.

I believe Wander will come out of this "not guilty". Does this mean he didn't do it? Probably not. Policeman/investigators in the DR earn approximately around $500 a month. The Aybar family is pretty well known in the Bani area and probably know many influential people. All these will be paid off, including the girls. It will be a huge "mistake" and "lie" from the girls as a large payment (thousands, not millions) is life changing for them.

Card wise, probably is a great idea for the Wander collectors, not flippers, to pick some cards that were too expensive a couple of weeks ago.

I agree with you. The Felipe Vazquez case was in the States, not DR. So, I can see MLB out of their league trying to get information from a potentially corrupt DR police/investigators.

If these offenses happened in the US, Vazquez would already have Franco as his cellmate.

Suspensions for life because of throwing games in an era long before the game had a player's union, is mostly certainly not "precedent" for a unionized player suspected of inappropriate behavior with at least one minor.

Not precedent in any shape or form.
