I share your views. Many collectors who are presently trying for a complete set will give up due to cost and/or fatigue. Most sets will become more specialized. The prices of cards from popular artists and players will remain steady or even slightly appreciate, but there will be an abundance of supply of other stuff, which usually leads to a race to the bottom until a floor is found.

I can definitely agree there are tons of great attitudes and outlooks and helpful demeanors around the thread, and overall it is very much a net positive for sure

never mind eBay, there is no reason to pay hundreds of dollars for any of these, that is just silly.

ALL of the artists and/or players have at least 15 cards yet to be released!

Collect what you can, ENJOY them!

Remember there will ALWAYS be someone with a "better" collection, that is how life works.

I wonder if the other artists designed their 21st card to fit with their set in some way where it looks awesome displayed.

Same thing happened to me on the most recent Frank Thomas release. Bought a 5 pack, got the paypal confirmation email but nothing from topps, look in my account - nothing, I just ordered ANOTHER 5 because it's ending today and I wanted to make sure I didn't get shut out.

Yeah Topps has a license to a few soccer leagues, ufc, wwe, and nhl stickers? Street artist champions league would be fun, not sure what would be the iconic cards for the basis though.

You’ve got to believe panini and upper deck are taking notice and we’re gonna have some nba/nfl/nhl equivalent for next season.

I fully expect UD to make a multi sport set and they will pack it out into $1200 boxes. Mantle, Jordan, Tiger, Lebron, Gretzky, Brady, Roy.....who else am I missing.
