Tatis might be shut down for a few days, but the early reports are encouraging. "He’s managed it through the years," Tingler said. "It comes and goes over the years. He does a pretty good job of managing it. He’s got a good feel for when it gets bad and when it’s not too bad. ... We as a group just have to stay very on top of it."

One would think they did their due diligence on this, but a 22 year old dealing with shoulder issues is not a great sign. Feels like surgery will happen at some point unless he can manage it for another 13-15 years.

This is the first I'm hearing about any shoulder issues. Is it possible he held info back from the Padres and why he agreed to such a long guaranteed contract at such a young age?

Shoulder issues with sluggers aren't the best. I'm a Cubs fan.... I know what it feels like to watch a promising player go through shoulder issues.
