$750 average return?? I opened four boxes and will be lucky to recoup 500 TOTAL. I know I’m probably an extreme case, but still $750 is high IMO. 5-600 max is where I would put FOTL.

You guys make good points. I’m viewing things from my own perspective but someone who is wealthy doesn’t care about overpaying thousands of dollars because it’s just peanuts to them.

However, yiguiri makes a great point. It’s a little strange that the buyer passed on the second one, given what he paid for the first one and what the subsequent one sold for. The patches were basically the same (I’d even argue that the second one was better; I didn’t inspect the autos though).

Funny you should say that. I actually did get shorted a wave RPA in one of my 2 boxes. The other box I bought made up for it because it had this.

Best exclusive was a Sekou /39. Got one extra RJA of Herro /99. No Zion’s, No Ja’s and only one card numbered less than 25 and it was Bradzeikas. Mine might be on one end of the extreme, but I’ve also seen some other really bad boxes so don’t let some of the unicorn multi-Zion boxes fool you.

I also still have 4 sealed boxes sitting here so it’s not sour grapes, just trying to help others who are thinking about breaking.

First post after lurking for a while. I know it will still probably sell out but posting the Spectra Hobby at $800 after the FOTL hit that price in Dutch seems high. I would think this should drive the FOTL prices up on secondary market.

At “only” 2.5x SRP, this is actually a smaller markup compared to some other products Panini has sold direct. Court Kings blasters were being sold at 5x SRP, but I guess that doesn’t seem as bad since they were “only” $100.
