Is PCS still the biggest PSA submitter? KK is claiming they are the biggest.

KK is not telling factual information. They’ve been claiming that for at least 6 months and I’ve gotten multiple confirmations it’s not true.

Who knows.. but whats for certain is that PCS is the must trustable

I wish they provided some sort of High End Trade service.

They get the card(s) from both collectors, confirm all is good and maybe charge 1% of all the cards value (min $50 to each collector) or a set fee.
plus the selected shipping and insurance.

There should be great demand for this. I dont know anyone doing it.

Vault Services are different, because you cant actually trade.. plus you dont have the cards in hand and many collectors like having them in their posesion.

If I had a $5,000 card I would like to trade I wouldnt mind paying PCS $50-100 plus shipping insurance while the other person does the same.

A little extra income for them taking advantage of the great trust they have built.. If they get 10 trades a day they could bank an extra $1k per day and probably takes 1 hour of time from an employee

Will just take a small investment to set their site to process these.
Something for PCS to explore

I think it would work if the cards were graded. I doubt they want to be authenticating the grade of any valuable raw cards. Too subjective.

We’ve considered doing something like this. Just have never gotten there.

Hope you explore this out soon.
The hobby needs a trusted middle man for trades

Would reduce scams and more people would be willing to trade

And you could keep it simple with graded cards only

Plus some might decide to leave the card(s) for consignemnt since they would already be with you.

Have you noticed a delay in shipping from PSA?

I know PC does not send the "grades available" email until the day before you have them in hand. It seems like it is taking longer from grades showing on the PSA pop report to the grades available email then it has in the past. I have seen in the other threads that people are not happy with PSA's return shipping times so I was wondering if that was the case here, too.

I sent an email about my consignments not showing up in the consignment section of my account. Only 2 out of the 42 that sold are showing up. I do see all of them in the "My Cards" section.

Will PCSportscards have a corresponding vintage "special" for $15 to match the February
PSA one? I'd rather go through you than submit directly, and I have a batch of 1947 bread cards to grade (all below $199 in value after grading).

Normally they don’t do the specials, but I might be crazy.

Are those numbers correct? Looks like the total # of subs went from 36 to 80 from 1/31 to 2/1.

They are correct.

So usually we do not. I'm pretty sure Josh mentioned this here before, but PSA has to allow us to offer that special and as of now we haven't been told we are. If that does change we would update the site accordingly.

The invoice thing is happening again. I've got one straggler. I just hit request total this afternoon (so after close of business in NY), but for all the other purchases it was done automatically.

It’s so strange how it works. eBay can’t get that to work properly. I’d assume someone will get to it on Monday. If I have some time this weekend I’ll check it out for ya.

Just want to make sure I don't get a non payer strike. My original win was Thursday, Jan 26. The last invoice was Tuesday the 31st.

I've always wondered when that first one becomes a non-pay and gets relisted. In reality I should have paid last night, but it's still there. Does the invoice reset the clock? I won a bunch on Sunday the 29th, so definitely can't have those become non-pays.

I also wonder if the request for total resets the clock? For awhile there I had some weird purchases page and when I requested a total, the order would disappear.

Everything would just be so much easier if we knew exactly how eBay worked.
