He does look awful in the field. Which that's not really new but before he always had mixed in enough spectacular "wow" plays that it made his defense easier to gloss over.

Ya - pickups slow, but I mostly follow what’s on offer for them + Bellinger and Arraez. With that said it’s mostly Devers that we still spend $$ on.

Wish I could say we buy many sapphires that show up. Most (all?) graded cards these days, and we aren’t willing to pay the premium the market demands for them.

Same. Last year I think I paid just a single PSA 10 premium. Did you win that Arraez Platinum?

I’m still kicking myself for not buying that Arraez platinum from the guy who pulled it. He didn’t know at the time I was collecting Arraez.

The price ended a little higher than I was willing to go. So no luck there.

Re: graded I’m with you... very very rare I land a PSA 10... I will do PSA 9 if the card looks sharp, or BGS 9.5, if they are selling near raw prices. So I do get the occasional slab. But mostly not

got these two back today. there was nothing obviously wrong with them. i was going back and forth on the centering, tough to judge with these borders but they seemed good enough to me. psa is tough right now.

waited 8 and 1/2 months to get two 9’s back.

if these were graded promptly like they were supposed to be i’m sure at least one would have gemmed. oh well it’s part of the game now. i bought them raw for $85 apiece so i still made out ok.

Does it seem like Tatis and Lindor have suffered the most this season from reduced offense and similar/increased fielding errors, and both have signed massive 1/3 of a billion dollar contracts? Were starting to get the point of not a small sample size and in Lindor's case its starting to worry me, last night or not.

I’ve been discussing tatis for years on blowout, before most of you joined this board.

Perhaps one day tatis fanboyz will learn how to accept and breakdown a player’s shortcomings and not just be blind pumpers.
