The last few items from my submission that was due on 2/7 are still dragging on over a month later. I guess those get thrown to the bottom of the list since they are already late.
Also, the last shipment I sent in under the old rules was delivered on Thursday, absolutely no record of that happening in the system yet. That must be the new trick, if they don't scan them in then the clock doesn't start. I love using COMC for cards in the $2-20 range, but I'm done sending items in now until they make an effort to turn things around. This feels like PSA/BGS all over again with the staff not being able to keep up with volume. Rather than staffing up to meet the requirements, just change the rules. Oh, and charge more money for it too. It's pretty clear the eBay auctions are way more work than they thought, and it's eventually going to ruin their core business if they don't get that part back on track.

I wonder how many packages theyve had delivered in the past week. Feel bad for their USPS guy/gal.

To be fair - in the past they start the countdown on the day it arrives. I've had them do that a few times when something wasn't scanned in right away.

I sent in 3000+ the week before the fee increases.

I sent in some and they received them yesterday, still nothing in the system or an email yet. Mine were both small batches but one was select for some higher dollar stuff so I’d like them to at least acknowledge it.

Anything you committed to send by March 4 and was postmarked by March 7 is grandfathered in to the old rate. Some of the highlights (going by memory) is that Basic Processing has been divided into 2 groups: * Slower than Molasses (not sure the actual name) which takes 12 weeks (or more) and costs 35 cents. If they take more than 12 weeks, they'll knock 20% off of that rate, so 28 cents. This ONLY applies to non-vintage (that is, 1980 or later cards) which are easy for a monkey to identify (English language, name of manufacturer clearly stated, year of manufacture clearly stated or easy to guess from the player's stats). * "We don't have time for these so we're going to process them faster" (again I forget the actual name). This is 50 cents per card and the deadline is 3 weeks, but again they can go longer and knock 20% off if need be. This level of service must be used for all Vintage (1979 or earlier), and all "Oddball" (I think, that's what I call them) cards - example, non-English cards, name of manufacturer or year not easy to determine. If you have any oddball or vintage cards mixed in with your regular cards, I >>>think<<< the procedure is to charge 50 cents to upgrade that one card, in addition to the 35 cents it cost in the first place. So, 85 cents. But if you submit an entire batch of stuff at the 3 week level, then it's all 50 cents per card. They also instituted some fee of like $10 to investigate a card which has been found to be trimmed which they'll charge to the person who submitted it. It isn't clear to me whether this includes cards which are supposed to be trimmed, like 1920's Strip cards, or cards which were frequently cut out by hand such as Sports Illustrated for Kids, but I think the spirit is that they want to stick it to the (alleged) trimmers who have been causing them so much consternation in recent times. Some other highlights include a $2 fee to price a card at $100 or more (or no additional charge if you send it in at the $2 level). This is supposed to get the higher quality scan like they give to eBay Auction items. Also, they now charge 50 cents per card to remove them from toploaders, so you're better off sandwiching the cards inbetween toploaders than sending them in the toploaders. |

My subs that were received on Friday made it into the system today.
At least they are jumping in price by the day. |

My Monday delivery hasn't been entered in yet. I can only imagine in 30 days and 60 days what the delays are going to look like.

No, but when you are running a sale, you get your higher price if a card sells on ebay.

Missing paper work fee is now $5. You also get charged the fee if any card is not current year for a current year submission.

I'd be careful about sending in cards from perforated sheets. I've been getting a lot of cards rejected even though the cards show the perforations. The $10 fee is ridiculous. Shown are 2 example cards rejected - Little Big Leaguers and SI for Kids.
I really wish they had a condition note "HAND-TRIMMED" for this type of card, and saved "EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING" for potential instances of fraud and deception. IMO, this sort of card adds character to the site, even though it probably doesn't account for more than 1/10 of 1% of anyone's sales. Right now I have over 7,000 cards in the pipeline and none are this sort of card (I hope). But I am slightly concerned that some ham-handed rules enforcer might retroactively apply some dopey "investigation fee" to a pile of 1950's Wheaties cards I might have submitted in 2010 or something. Were these simply returned to your account as "unsupported" or did they actually charge you a fee? I can see them charging a punitive fee for actual detective work, like cross-checking eBay and Worthpoint to discover that a certain serially-numbered card used to have a corner ding, and now the same serial number is a PSA 10 with no such ding. But it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that a card which was originally printed on the back of a Twinkies box might have been removed from that Twinkies box using some sort of mechanical means. Also, not everyone buys the cheapest card 100% of the time.

I've also had a few vintage playing/game cards declined for "EVIDENCE OF TRIMMING", which I think is absolutely untrue. It might be possible the cards have a natural width variance from the time of production that might be the cause of the rejection. Sample attached:
