It needs people to be constantly pouring money in and losing it and doing that all over again to survive. These are nothing like collectables. That is a TS sleight of hand.

So you have TS taking a massive cut, much more than people seem to think......but that's not the only leak.

Then you have the pack drop. Do you think users are putting new money in to buy packs or selling a few moments? This is money out of the pool.

Then you have those sitting at the table and not buying into the pot. And they are everywhere. I've heard this called a pyramid, but this does not do it justice. In this pyramid the bottom hopes to feed on the top and does so successfully. It's unreal.

At some point the leaks become bigger than the influx. Accounts start turning red. This has already happened. Minimal research will find it. Those who got in in February are losing in the market and they aren't going to keep doubling down.

What is the value of an account anyways? The lowest ask? Sure, if you take your money out today. But there simply isn't enough in the pool to cover all these bets; not even close.

TS releases a 4000 series.............someone sells one for $10 (I realize the sale doesn't actually have to be made).........the account values combined go up by 40k..........yet only $9.50 has entered the pool.

This isn't a new game. I'll sell you some rare Pepe's if you want them......if not then I have a bridge I can sell too. I'll even put it on the blockchain so you know you are the only one who owns that bridge.
Can I get the link to your Substack?

Man some people are really overthinking this.

I've also been watching 96 Flair Row 0s of Kobe and Jordan pretty much halve in price or more since the run up.

A lot of things have levelled off.

Even LeBron Rookies.

So I wouldn't be concerned about this lull. Wait until it gets close to the Playoffs and people run off game to game hype.

All this fancy talk and ultimately, I collected most of these because I enjoyed it. There was no game, no play, no margins or complex strategy. Simply, cool HL, cool concept, innovative, I'm in. Series 1 packs, let's get a bunch to climb higher in the team fan ranks . Series 2 packs, sure, I'll grab a few and put a set together. Sometimes, it's simple. The money that comes with it is awesome too but I understand that I'm one of the few here who got in before the boom.

I really dont see it any different than cardboard as a collectible, whether it's 2018 Topps Chrome Sapphire or 2019 Topps Chrome UEFA Saphhire. The longer you wait, the higher the buy in was. Again, many collect pictures with men in shorts. Others are collecting videos with men in shorts. Some do both.

But yeah, this all sounds like a broken record. For every dip, hater's come in in hopes to watch in burn. Sometimes, just let it be and move on.

Maybe your post will hit a few people over their head. There's a reason why dapper wants transactions to happen ONLY on their marketplace.

And he's eerily silent. Speaks volumes. Heck he could come back, say he cashed out, had a good time and still likes the product.

But he hasn't.

Picked up the Giannis series 2 /15k for $69. Originally pulled this moment when they came out and sold at $75, happy to be back in and add to collection!

I don't know the guy(beyond a few PM's, always cordial and helpful by the way...) but maybe he's...you know...moved on to something else besides arguing on this thread.

I have no idea how his cash outs went, but I have cashed out twice...thousands both times. No issues. Money is safe and sound in my bank. I made good money for literally almost no "work".

I know you hate the product and are trying to save people from losing money(PEOPLE WILL LOSE MONEY IMO), but....there is(was?) good money to be made my friend.

Nah, the constant pumping of his portfolio is evidence that he wouldn't just up and leave. So now we're on to scenario #2.

But yes, every "scam" pays out to the first few who can...congrats for that. Even Bernie's cash outters eventually got caught too.

Haha.

I get it. If you look back at the first page, I said I didn't get this. To be honest, I still don't get it really. Matter fact, I was(in the first 8-15 pages somewhere) one of the first people bashing on grade for pumping. Sure seemed like he was.

Then I got bored one day in January and put a little money in. Now it's March 23rd and I made good money. Shrug.

I assume you're equating grade to one of Bernies "outters"? Not me? Haha. Can't see how anyone could come after me...or grade really. Explain so I understand what you mean .

"first few". I got my 1st pack 2 weeks ago, weeks after the initial boom and height of the market. Have 50x my investment in my Dapper, 10x in my bank, and 70x in moments. You coulda made a chunk of change if you just tried it instead of continuing to hope for Topshot's downfall.

Figured it'd be a nice departure from all the scamcam talk.

Plus, the sound of illegal money sheathed in magazines through Fedex parcels is the best kind of ASMR.

Sending good tingles everyone's way in this bear market!

I'm getting major flashbacks to the discussions I remember reading about bitcoin back in like ... 2014.

Maybe it's just back and forth discussion common to anything crypto-related, not sure, but it's deja vu.

The guy was clearly a pumper though and the fact he made his money and cashed out and vanished from the thread shows how much he believes in this product. Tried to help others make some cash on the side too was sound advice but it really only worked to make his portfolio richer.

It’s no different from dudes hyping a player in a thread because they have some cards to sell of said player and once said cards are sold, they don’t speak about the player again.

This thread was designed to get the rubes into the tent and I won’t deny that a lot of people made some good money on this, but it is the early investors that gained the most and all the friendly advice and nonsense about “diamond hands” and “to the moon” was just lingo to create FOMO. So many early posts seemed like “hush hush” whispers about a hot stock tip that nobody was wise to...but here’s the thing. If you discover some great money making tip, why tell everyone? You only tell them because you need them to spend their money so you can make yours.

Congrats on those that made their money. I know this all might sound bitter but I’m generally happy that y’all got yours. I honestly made an account and did some research and decided it was just wasn’t for me. I think at the end of the day, the least, bare minimum we can do is educate ourselves

HODLing my SS Bron moments til zero or hero.

These may be lab made diamonds, but they're blingy hands nonetheless.

I really wanted to hold mine and hope there would be an increase but I sold them and bought a Lebron Dunk /7500. Now I’m watching those moments again to potentially rebuy. I’m going to hold out until it gets closer to the Durant challenge ending before I start to buy again. Good luck I hope they hit hero for you.
