If Diaz can lock this game down, this will be a day long remembered. Oh baby. What a comeback!

I stop paying attention after the 8th and just read the headlines of a comeback. Not sure what’s more shocking the comeback or the Bullpen not blowing it. Figured two bad games in a row they were back to the same old Mets. It’s nice to be wrong.

Simply not prepared for these games. 2nd one of it's kind ... teams are allowed to win this way?

Crazy game, awesome comeback. I still expected Diaz to blow it in the bottom half of the inning. Happily wrong.

Diaz really has been the guy we were hoping for recently.

When you consider they dumped Cano, and when you look at what Kelenic has brough to SEA.

Turns out pretty good!

Dumping Cano is almost as good as a seven run comeback in the ninth inning!

Wow, this team. I don’t see anyone in the entire MLB competing with the Mets or Dodgers.

They are paying $40 million to dump Cano.

Mets maybe catch a big break today with the game 2 starter Eflin being put on the covid list.

Nice win in game 2 and seeing Alonso hitting the ball well! First MLB team to 20 wins too.

I question the timing of this demotion just hours before he plays the Mets. He was batting around .150 for most of the season and I thought they would let him figure it out instead of demoting him. Probably didn't want him to get worse (if possible) mentally.

Haven't had to post about waiting for MRI results since deGrom last year...the more things change, the more they remain the same...

I mean he wasn't going to throw 200 innings this year anyway.

I don't think this one is that big a deal. Maybe a good opportunity for Butto or Szapucki to get a couple of major league starts in. And certainly this is why it pays to have depth at SP, since Trevor Williams and David Peterson can already just step right in.

I have to admit, as a Mets fan, I thought the worse and he was done for the year with an arm issue. We’ll see today to what extent his injury is.
