There really aren’t many G5 schools that aren’t funny to think of making the playoffs…. It can’t be Boise State every year….

We are facing the possibility, albeit a remote one, that the PC may have to wait until after Army-Navy to select the G5 representative in the playoffs…. They’ll have to take care of business against North Texas and Memphis and win the CCG though….

Can you imagine Army-Navy with playoff implications??

Im actually surprised it's Memphis that's ranked instead if Navy...

Memphis win over Arkansas not looking that impressive now, and while they have to played anyone tough- Navy IS still unbeaten

Although there schedule is about to get rough...@ North Texas, @ ND, South Florida, @ Memphis

Well they’re the only G5 with a ranked team right now…. I could see the Mountain West most likely sending someone but it wouldn’t take much in terms of a minor upset somewhere down the road for the American to take over….

IMHO if they take care of their conference opponents, they could afford a loss to Notre Dame and suddenly they’re right in the mix, arguably with the inside track.

But yeah those conference opponents are going to be tough. Navy’s weak defense might give up 70 to the Mean Green.
