Agreed on all points

Pretty clear why he doesn’t touch the ball that much by designed plays. He is fantastic hustling for offensive rebounds and scoring that way, can make occasional three when open. But in this game most of the time when he was asked to create in the post against solid defenders he was exposed. You can’t get a guy 30 good touches if his offensive skill set is limited.

Nice player, but let's all stop pretending he's anywhere near Zion's level. I'll eat my words if he is better than Zion in the league.
Screen shot this lol I personally beileve RJ will have more success at the pro level then Zion guess we will see in time

Thing is we had already seen this movie in the Gonzaga game. Almost same exact thing happened. Barrett tries to force winning the game by himself. In both games Zion needs to touch the ball. They lost then because of that and lost today because of it.

Oh, I have no doubt a Zion fan thinks his 5 turnovers were his teammate's fault and that missed free throws are meant to be assists to his teammates. This is a TEAM game but this sounds like the same stuff I read in MJ and Lebron James threads. Jordan single-handedly won 6 titles and Lebron single-handedly lost 6 titles.

He’s a star. Can point you to other players that get called on it.

Zion took one shot the last 6 minutes of this game. Coach K should be ashamed.

He coaches and pounds the team concept. Do all the dirty work. I think when you get the lottery picks, they tend to tune him out a bit and want to rely on iso ball. Maybe it is the all the AAU games that these guys do. I also think Izzo does his best work when he has like minded guy running the team like Cassius.

lol some people's night was made by Duke losing.

I was screaming at the television before the Goins 3 to "FOULHIMFOULHIMFOULHIM" when the ball was crossing half court, lol. I couldn't believe they didn't, but I also couldn't believe that 3 was SOOOO wide open for Goins, until it wasn't. I was amazed (again) at how Zion was suddenly just there with his fingertips almost touching the ball. Great shot by Goins, for sure.

I enjoy both Duke and MSU, and Coach K and Coach Izzo, so I was happy with the game.

I don't feel the pre-orgasmic bliss that Duke lost coupled with the delight of Zion being exposed, lol, but it was a fun game.

I'd love Tech vs. Auburn. I thought the Zags had a great shot and I was rooting for them to win, but they came up short. Again. Feels like Deja Vu.

I used to really, really want to see Mark Few at a 'big time' school, just to see what if.

Don’t care how many FT’s he missed...What he did previously in the game...How many times he got exposed in the post... He’s your best player on the team-You give him the ball in crunch time

Yeah this team seems to have Izzo's fire, Cassius makes a lot of smart plays and keeps everyone on task kind of like Mateen.

Interesting useless fact of the day. Some great Elite 8 action. Made up for the rest of the tourney.

@SethDavisHoops
The four Elite Eight games were decided by a combined margin of 18 points, the smallest combined margin in Elite Eight history.

I was more impressed today . seen him hit some 3's ! but sad to see them lose .

Zion still looked very good today. I'm not a huge basketball fan but he looked very fluid IMO. Grabbing rebounds, layups, etc. Saw some mistakes also but he is young so that is expected.
