Ugh that sounds awful. I hope for your sake it's just a banged up box and when you get it back everything inside is alright. I don't think I'll ever use FedEx again to send to PSA. The only time I did, it took like 10 days to get there. USPS did my next submission for basically the same shipping cost and got it there over a weekend. I wish you good luck on that return!

Yea, I'm pretty nervous about this for sure. Had some nice stuff in there. Really hard to imagine them being damaged the way I packaged them.

Yes this happened to me a few months ago.

Essentially the box was damaged - by damaged I mean it was ripped.

As soon as its ripped PSA will refuse it and its a really cumbersome process to get it re boxed and re shipped.

Looking at the dates of this order, and where my orders are, give an idea how orders with April (or newer) Research & ID dates are hitting a brick wall to get to Grading and beyond. CoachDave33's order took 8 months to go from Grading to Shipped. If that holds true with my 3 orders below, that means those orders may finish by end of June 2022. I'm expecting them back closer to end of July, early August, as I expect continued slowdown as PSA gets deeper into the remaining backlog.

my value moderns (3 orders all with same dates)

Order delivered: 1/29/21 (Fed Ex)
Order received per PSA: 3/8/21
Research & ID: 4/9/21
Grading: 10/29/21

My orders got entered/researched&ID 18 days later than CoachDave33's order. His order hit Grading 28 days later where my order took 6+ months to get to Grading.

We really have no concept how many cards arrived at PSA each and every day between mid-February to the end of April (people had until March 30th to submit the online submission forms and then 30 days to get the cards to PSA). Turner said that in one particular day in March, they got over 660,000 cards. Those 660,000 cards will for sure stall all the cards behind them (and make those orders' owners feel like PSA is sitting around and doing nothing but processing Express, Regular and Economy orders they've recently accepted). I do believe though that PSA will stay true to their word on devoting 80% of their resources towards the backlog.

That’s awesome. Mine was received on Monday and entered Thursday. I’ve got one card in there that wasn’t in the system so that’s likely the cause of any delay

edit: Now PSA sends me an email saying the package was refused and it will be sent back with same tracking number, but tracking still shows delivered. WOW.

I'm sorry. I hope that doesn't mess with the insurance on the package if the items were indeed damaged.

The images they sent show no real damage, just that you can see the inside of the box, but the contents I packed are fine.

I have no idea what this means as FedEx will just claim it was delivered and signed for. I think this means all liability is on PSA at this point.

Amazing how some go from assembly to Q1/2 very quick and others, now at 2 months in assembly, sit in limbo. Great sub btw.

Are you referring to a personal sub or a sub through a group submitter? The timing appears to be different between the two. Why that is the case I'm not sure but it appears group subs are slower than personal submissions.

It is a group, but it should not matter. PSA really has poor customer service and if the ROI was not so different in their favor I would not use them at all. Many group subs move to Q1 from assembly a lot faster. If it belonged to me it would be bad, but the fact it is my son’s Pokémon submission of first editions makes it worse. I am not blaming the group submitter, but PSA logged this order on 01.09.21. I only use express now where the turnaround is predictable. Never imagined he would not get them back for Christmas.
