Yes the College PC collecting is getting harder all the time. I purchased 2,300 of my 9,600 collection on COMC over the years. My want list has close to 20,000 more on it but a lot are 1 of 1s and card out of my price range. It appears I have picked up all the cheap stuff and now I have to pay more. My budget does not like that. (less cards more money)

No offence with the "crap" word as I have find out almost all the dealers and sellers just will not take the time to pull the "crap" as it is not worth their time with the small stuff.

I'm happy you're seeing progress on your submissions, on the other hand it seriously disappoints me when my last basic submission due May 6th - two days before yours - is still sitting on 5%, literally untouched since it was logged more than five months ago. New expected date keeps pushing back, now October 20th, looks like the whole process will take about eight months if I'm lucky.

Their blog clearly states:

Quote:
All non-guaranteed services will be worked on from oldest to newest.
which is obviously untrue. A "lie", if you will.

So they are being untruthful with their customers and cherry-picking which submissions to process? What criteria do they have for this?

COMC are laughing at us now. I just cannot understand their attitude of total disdain. They are seemingly content to eradicate every last drop of goodwill from amongst a large section of their customer base.

Anyone know how long it takes eBay auctions you won to show up on your auctions won page so you can pay with COMC credit? Thanks.

Had a hard time reading the latest email without feeling like I'm being punked a bit.

One of the lines in particular: "We also enabled our Customer Support team to work remotely to ensure there is no lapse in support coverage and to improve customer response times."

Reading some of the lack of responses here and also my own experience of being ignored would tell me otherwise.

They've also updated the return policy.

I was delighted to receive an e-mail from COMC earlier today entitled:

Quote:
Our Commitment to Delivering an Excellent Customer Experience
telling me how bright and wonderful the future looks for COMC and all the sellers and buyers on their platform.

Sounds great!

Four hours later and the deadline for my 3-week guaranteed service submission passes. Less than 20 percent of the cards have been processed and added to my account.

So despite what COMC e-mails are telling us, the service is actually getting worse by the day.

Worse. Than it has been. Just think about that for a moment.

They're not even trying any more, are they?

I just really feel that I am being expertly trolled by COMC now.

Exactly. It is like some kind of surreal joke.

Wow. I had a couple hundred cards processed today. They were all from the newest batch I've submitted (3 months over due).

So I decided to jump on the tatis jr bandwagon and buy a series 2 RC on COMC in hopes it continues to jump up on price. After the purchase upon closer inspection I noticed that there was actually two of the in the same penny sleeve. Anyone have this happen to them? I am thinking I own two now, right? Thoughts on what to do from here? The card is in my COMC store if anyone is interested in taking a look.

Sorry to ask a question that I am sure has been answered a million times but how are they doing on premium processing at the moment? I have a large group to send and I am resigned to the lesser service level taking forever but if I pay $1 per card for the higher end stuff will that hit my account quickly at this point?

They seem to be doing pretty good at the upgraded service levels. You can also get 10 free Elite level submissions if you use the code in the recent Tim Getsch interview video. I posted the info earlier on this thread, I believe.

It happens every so often.
Report the error to COMC using the mouseover "Report Error" button. (image below for those that haven't done it before)

When it's happened to me, they returned the extra card to the original owner because it is really their processing error. I have spotted some because they originally incorrectly labeled them "wrong backs" or something.

Lucky. The only movement on mine was pushing it back to 10/22. It’s been sitting at 20% now for 11 days without a card being uploaded.

Thanks for the input. Do you guys think it is better to split a larger group into smaller submissions (on regular stuff) or will that have no possible effects on turnaround. Thoughts are much appreciated.

People have been posting that they weren’t hitting dates on 3 week stuff recently too. It’s an absolute crapshoot with this company at this point. They might get them done in 4 days or 44 months, never know!

Another COMC success for me... Waiting 4 months for a 4 card order I placed thru their site. Get an e-mail from another of their customers saying they sent him my cards, packing slip and all. 4 months it took to mail them out and it's to the wrong person. Sure glad the guy e-mailed me and I guess I should have expect his cards to show up at my door soon... 4.99 shipping well earned COMC..

I was afraid to request a shipment but now I'm terrified. I guess I won't see my cards nor processed nor received for a year at least. YOLO COMC

I just sold a card priced at my base discount of 25% as I went to click it to 0% off in the promotions manager. Might've been 20 seconds. Crazy times.

It will be kinda like a box break of surprises by the time I get the cards.
I’m sure I won’t even remember I have a box coming from them any more and when a box shows up I will think - man, what drunk-on-eBay pile of stuff will this be?

This deal was wonderful for me; and it was great to meet someone who could properly operate the account

I have a tiny account with almost entirely worthless cards so I can keep buying George Brett cards and stay involved with the hobby. So far it’s 100% random baseball purchased on site for whatever reason.

I have submissions waiting to go with around 20,000 cards worth between $1 and $200 sitting around my house so I’ll likely be back someday, but not soon

I also have a vintage collection that would make me again a top seller on site, but I have no interest in consigning it to them at this time

I am working on a large scale non baseball card business project currently, and I find COMC to be horribly run so I was happy to take the out option

If you ever want to deal with a professional and easy to work with buyer, hit up Bryansecs

Don't ship. Mine has been in limbo somewhere in California for the last 4 1/2 months on its way to Australia.

Anyone else finding that COMC is getting lazy on their condition notes? This is two batches in a row I’ve received through eBay that have cards with significant surface issues. Not hunting for gems, but also expect a disclosure of damage that would be PSA 5-7 worthy. And if you're using COMC to dump your damaged cards, you suck.

So still waiting on my first shipment from COMC. Requested on 5/5 and had an estimated Ship date of 8/5. Well since that date has come to pass it now says “Not Yet”. I know they were behind but they couldn’t even make a 3 month processing on time.
