Less than $16 million guaranteed for a guy with his talent level is a bargain in this market. Very little downside here.
I hope, for his sake, he keeps his head down and avoids all the other stuff. Just go get your money and you can do goofy crap behind closed doors.

BTW, the Pacers picked up the fourth year options on Haliburton and Nesmith and the third year options on Duarte and Isaiah Jackson at the end of last week.

Smart, they have actually attracted players who appreciate the fact that they have a free rein to build a team in Indy. Meanwhile Mattisse Thybulle, Grant Williams, and Cam Johnson all headed for restricted free agency in their 4th year.

"The Detroit Pistons have officially waived Kemba Walker." That's crazy... just a season and a half ago, when I started to follow the Celtics, he was the man. Maybe he can spot for Schroeder while his thumb heals?

3 seasons in he's played 62, 23, and 53 games (and he's not a Zion like potential superstar). Wild

Hunter is the next great wing. Or so we were told. Hopefully he can stay healthy and relevant.

D'andre Hunter is one of the greatest draft picks in Cleveland Cavs history.

If we are talking criminally low contracts Wiggins 4 year/109 mil. That's like 50 percent off as far as I am concerned.

You think Andrew Wiggins should be making $50 million per year?

One thing is for certain, he should be making A LOT more than Poole since he's much more important.

Wiggins at 4/$109 ($27.25 per average) is a steal compared to Poole at 4/$140 ($35 per average).

But Wiggins has already made a good amount of money over his career (and will continue to) so he probably didn't mind taking a little less to keep the team as good as possible.

Ant just weighed in at 239... with KAT at 238 - to be fair he is getting over illness that sent him to the hospital. Just illustrates the work Ant put in with the weights over the summer.

So they’re both 100 pounds heavier than Chet.

PHL over RSW total seems pretty pretty good. Embiid will play less minutes with Trez and Reed behind him, plus PJ Tucker. Harden will play fewer with the rise of Maxey and Melton/Shake as well.

Wiggins at $27M while we’re talking about guys like Hunter making $22 and Poole making $35 is an incredible value

That’s kind of huge for a shooting guard, is it not? What was in his weight room, all Zions leftover snacks? How is his gait?

Just goes to show that for many of these players, money isn't everything.

Sometimes, playing for a franchise that you enjoy playing for is more important than earning a few extra million that you'll never spend....

Man, it seems like the entire Lakers team is listed as probable for tonight. How are they this beatup already. I liked the Lakers to cover at 7.5 with the under 223.5, but now I don't know where to put my one dollar. Figured the Lakers might actually bring some defensive intensity for opening night.
