I’ll admit I was so hyped for Emoni Bates…. until watching him play.

Sekou crawled so Emoni could trudge.

I’m pretty confident in my assessment that Sekou will have a better NBA career than Emoni.

The dude could be a decent flamethrower type bench guy but he’s got worse spatial awareness than Boden

Sekou had an 8 day span as a double double starting sensation. And will forever go down in the annals (pause) of roundball history as the man that placed Tristan's bodybag...in a bodybag.

Those that know; knew.

Semi-annual check-in on Poot. I see he has been riding the bench and is sporting even worse shooting splits than last year.

If Scoot doesn't pan out there's always Nesmith.

Would still be one of his best cards as the rest will be in the penny boxes.

To quote the great Rat King,

"...gots the biggest nostrils you ever seen. It’s not an ethnic thing I’m not saying this to shame him but he got dead stars at the bottom of his nose. This man could kill a spice rack from 70 feet away.”

Well see where these are in a year. I don't really care one way or another.
Update... just over a year later and the last Gem Mint copy sold for $25.

I haven't watched Scoot much if at all. Cool name. How does he play? Does he strategically define the team's approach? Is his crew doing well around that? That's what has always interested me in players.

Must have looked for a thousand reasons to stop collecting Nesmith before I committed. Each time he made some bone headed play he did much better next go around. And the teams kept winning. Now it's the fun part, the home stretch. Filling in the collection with still cheap rarities.

He impressed Kyrie Irving:

https://dallashoopsjournal.com/p/kyr...ut-shorthanded

“You’ve got to give them credit. They play well here in Portland. When a team has four guys scoring over 20, it’s going to make an impact,” Irving said. “They were very comfortable at the end. Scoot was playing out of his mind. Coming off a game-winner, it felt like carry-over. He played free, hit threes even off a head fake. I haven’t seen that. They did things we didn’t see on film last time. You’ve got to give credit. Their coach made adjustments.”

This is definitely an all time flop of a thread. What are the chances the OP comes back?

I mean, in just a week the card is up 50 cents.

By this rate, it'll be back to it's original price in about 2 years! Then who will get the last laugh!

I will say that I've missed quite a bit on basketball the last few years. Took a MASSIVE hit with Hoops Premium. Did really well with MPJ and sold all I had of him at the right time. Happy that I went strong on Giannis, Book & SGA early on. Scoot isn't looking great so far, congrats guys

You still haven't learned… you werent being trolled or criticized for being high on Scoot. It was due to your fixation on this particular Panini Instant card.

I think Scoot looks fine as a player that will be an asset to his team, not so fine as a hobby value play. Not sure he ever climbs out of that particular hole.
