I just think things will work out with the roster during the course of a season. Players get injured, trade opportunities pop up, ect.

Again I am glad Ainge went with talent over need. No more Fab Melo picks for me.

As of today our small ball line up will be:
Pg Thomas
Sg Hunter
Sf Smart
PF Bradley
C Jae Crowder (if he gets resign)
I'm praying that we get Kevin Love and a legit Center. A scoring SF would also be great. Who know's what the great GM Ainge would do.

I feel like Ainge's real plan is that rumor that was on Twitter a few days ago. I think he's gonna go after Love, Robin Lopez and Pierce and he thinks he can get those three and that's his plan. Do I like that plan...no so hopefully he has a different idea for the off season but after last night im very confused which direction he is going in

Portland traded for Mason Plumlee last night so that could mean Lopez is on his way out of Portland. The Celtics can probably offer a max to Kevin Love with the hope of Cleveland not matching or a sign in trade with Cleveland that involves Smart,Bradley and maybe Sullinger/Bass. Next week would be exciting than this draft.

Would you even be really excited about having a core of Pierce, Love and Lopez though? To be honest although Pierce is only of my favorite players i would almost rather a younger scorer at small forward like Khris Middleton maybe. I don't know ill wait and see it just seems like the celtics are settling rather then going for something big

Lopez no way lol if we can get Kevin Love this season it's a good start. the team just needs a legit scorer to continue with this rebuild.

Yes. If you also have some of IT, Bradley, Smart, KO, Young, Jae, Zeller, Sully, Picks, Cap Space, and more picks.

is it weird.... but I want no part of Kevin Love on our team, at all.

I don't have any faith in him being a part of a winning team, winning culture. I want a post up PF, not a camp at three PF.

Now I hated the draft last night, thought it was a waste of four picks, wasn't happy with any of them. I get that Ainge was left out when he couldn't swing a deal to move up for Winslow (I would have loved to have that kid), but I think he whiffed hard.

My sentimental side would love to see PP for one more season in green then walk off into the sunset, but not paired with Love/Lopez

It's going to be interesting, I'm reserving my judgment until FA/Trades go down because we all know Ainge isn't done

Near Max which for him is around $15M. Not bad for a kid putting up an efficient 17+ PPG at 22. With the cap jumping this is really about 11-12 per year now.

Still, if Sullinger gets his fat ass in shape he is essentially what Harris is, but cheaper.

There are bigger areas of need than spending 15 on Harris, whom I like, just not right now on the Celtics.

I have lost faith in Sully's ability to live up to his potential. Between the 2 I would take Harris even at the higher cost. Can play the the 3/4 roles and a MUCH more efficient scorer than Sullinger, especially from deep.

My only concern is his lack of defense at a wing position.

If Ainge was crazy to offer the picks MJ is crazier for turning it down. He probably could have taken the offer and still would have gotten Kaminski at the 16th pick lol

He can, which is what Boston needs but not a position that is logjammed by players already. If you are going to throw that money at someone throw it at a center, SF or a SG.

Just too many redundancies on this team right now. Obviously that will change, but I dont think Harris is the answer here

He would be a primary SF for the Celtics I would guess.

6'9 small forward, yikes.

I like Harris, and if we wind up with him okay but I really want a shot blocker and wing scorer. Maybe we get all those, I dunno.

I trust Ainge, but if he gets Harris and no one else that's not gonna be helpful

The majority of his minutes were at SF for the Magic last year and he thrived.

One piece at a time with Ainge. Obviously rim protection needs to happen at some point here.

Default Breaking news Celtics agree to sign Amir Johnson

SMH 24 mil for 2 years. The only good thing is according to report 2nd year is non guaranteed. 12 mil a year for Johnson just wow. Danny Ainge must saw something or he just wants to blow his money.
