That's pretty common in recent years for the main 3 or 4 sets and then the high end sets are quite a bit lower print run.

I don't think there were many pumpers...mainly people slamming NFT's and accusatory "pyramid scheme" conspiracy theorists....but yeah, NFT's are a thing and so is NBA TopShot.

Don't believe it. Sorry. Dude was talking about 8 dollars here and 9 dollars there. I distinctly remember his "200." screenshots, not "200,". He never once got excited about a six-figure pack pull either. Now those screenshots are scrubbed? Lol nah

He started his pack buying during Series 1. We were joking with each other during the rise. We'd intentionally post and take off zeroes on purpose dude. If the pics are still there, you can see he edited out the zeroes. But you don't have to believe it.

Purchases: $138,390
Sold: $158,547

Live Token has him at $71,055 after his marketplace fees.

I’m not sure if cyrptoslam takes into account pack purchases or not.

Either way, Grade did alright. He also jumped in crypto before the boom when guys (myself included) hounded him. He’s probably laughing, as I would be too.

It's actually cut down more than a third. $2.6B down to $845M.
Though it hasn't dropped much in the last month and it's not stabilized yet.
It definitely could still rebound. If your looking to make money on it, it's pretty risky right now with not a lot of return. But if you are a true collector and like the idea, I say go for it. I don't think Top Shot is going away, it's just not a big thing anymore.

I think this will all depend on the global market. I have no clue who can access this stuff but if at some point other countries have the same reaction we did here in bulk, it will explode again.

Interesting, if it does not even out of beta, it could be a very long term hold where in 25 years if NFTs are all over, having series 1s and rares+ are worth a ton.

While not a pyramid there is a dirty (not so secret) about Top Shot. That being that much of speculation was driven by Dapper employees who only got buying and selling disabled on January 15th 2021. I'm sure most here have noticed the CEO has a 10 million dollar account. His isn't the only employee account.

It doesn't take much to drive speculation when using a bizarre method of determining price. These guys are veterans of this game and knew exactly which buttons to press.

This isn't the stock market. But if you want to talk about the morality of individuals buying their own stock that is a different discussion.

If you are comfortable with a group colluding to create the illusion of value then that's your cup of tea. Just don't expect another "bull run" here.

As far as I know, Elon isn't selling it. He's integrating it into his empire. He's pumping, but not dumping. What was going on in this thread in January and February was early adopters telling everybody to buy while they were actually unloading at the same time. That's why anybody who spent their own money (aside from pulling some crazy $$$ moment from a pack which seems to be uber rare even if you survived the bot line) in February and March are prolly down, and down big. The market cap is telling.

Can somebody tell me how much Grade's account is worth now? Or is he completely out?
