I'm not saying he cheated in that game, just that he's been busted in the past (literally 6 weeks ago) so he does not have the cleanest reputation.

Look at how someone like Altuve is still treated.

Again , people defending the Astros are not realizing their cheating was top down, everyone involved, blatant, rampant, and lasted for years.

Now compare that to German and lmk if you spot the difference.

Gives you immunity from having to read all the disparaging posts about it. I need to learn which threads not to post in.

As soon as I woke up and saw the news, I knew that was going to be a lot of people's first reaction.

To be honest, I couldn't help to think of it as well. Hopefully he's made amends and is different than the person he was then. But also, it's a great accomplishment and future trivia question for sure.

As far as Judge..... I expect him in the batter's box next week.

I need to follow my own advice and realize when people are divided on a subject at least half of them will hate your opinion.

I hope the same as what you wrote about German.

Judge coming back next week do you think he will participate in the all star game.

All I'm saying is that you can't get paid $40m, say you're hurt, and then go jumping on the field. I do not care for any excuses or what have you...hug German in the clubhouse.

If he was willing to take part in a celebration where the possibility of making his injury worse could happen he should be willing to at least dh one game to see how it is progressing.

You missed out, sorry. As in every other perfecto in MLB history, it was exciting and nerve-racking as eff. Top notch entertainment.

You said it would be tainted. The only way it would be tainted is if he actually cheated during that game. Please give it a rest.

I posted this in another thread but just look at Stanton, holy cow. That's what the Yankees thought they were getting, now they just have a slow turd who can't hit a thing.

I want to know more about this Rudy York guy who drove in 50 runs in one month and made the list twice.

That's your homework assignment for today. We expect a report tonight or tomorrow.

I remember that month being the only time I watched Marlins' baseball regularly.

He had the 18 homer Month in his rookie year. .275 lifetime average 297 career home runs was a bad fielding catcher and sometimes first basemen for the Detroit Tigers.

The Collector's Edition for German's PG sold out almost instantly. Is there really a market for that at $200 MSRP or do people really love Domingo?

Or they love history and scarcity, a PG being just about the rarest accomplishment in all of sports. If people really cared about the person, they wouldn't collect Ty Cobb or Kirby Puckett, among countless others.

I get that part... but not the $200 part.

Just out of my depth at that point I guess.

Yeah, that is crazy. What was the production limit? Personally, I wouldn't have paid $20. Just not my thing. But hey.

Lemahieu seems to be coming around but Gleyber grounds into a double play.

And that is why you don’t put Stanton in the field although that ball was crushed. Schmidt letting this one get away. 3-1 A’s

Haven't had to purchase a Yankees Topps Now card in quite a while.

That /27 is too rich for my blood.
