Worth the wait! The Big Bear walks it off in the 11th for the series win.

I'd expect to see Elder one more time. April 18th is a blank day in the rotation, according to ESPN. Most likely the target date for Spence's MLB return, at home vs Minnesota. I don't think they'd bump AJSS or Holmes and have him appear up in Toronto.
I was upset I didn't get to see him pitch while he was in Norfolk since it's 15 minutes away from me. Of course he pitched in the day game.

It sure was. Keep winning series. 150 games left, plenty of time to recover from the 0-7 start.

While 6 walks weren't great, the bullpen provided 5 hitless innings last night and 4.1 hitless innings in game 1. It's a little encouraging.

BIG win. Love wiping the snide off of Harper's face anytime.

Trip north seems to have awoken the bats, even without Ozuna in the lineup.

Riley with 2 homers, 5 RBI already, and that average is creeping up to that .300 number

Grant Holmes really looks like Kenny Powers. Do the fans dig him?

If he can continue to put up similar starts to this, the fans will love him.

I really thought they'd save Strider for the Twins' series in Atlanta. But I guess they'll bump Elder into that slot

Welp.

Strider had a nice return. Saw a stat that he may have reached 500 strikeouts in fewer innings than any other starting pitcher.

Baldwin with his first career homer.

19 strikeouts as a team today, most in team history. Harris/Riley/Olson 1-12 with 11 strikeouts.

Yuck

Overall just a rough day at the plate. Some bad takes and swings no doubt, but man the strike zone was brutal today. I get that they all can't be Ben May but someone that blind shouldn't have a job at this level.

Strider wasn't super sharp but still managed pretty well. His throw into center field made me laugh.

Offense was a joke today. 1-3 just brutal. This team has 0 consistency.

I think the outfield defense just got better. Verdugo called up, BDLC sent to the minors.

Verdugo, Harris, and Kelenic in the OF are all really strong defenders.

I think Fairchild is solid as well. Now, if one of them would actually be productive offensively. I think all 3 spots are like 28th or worse offensively so far.

Ouch. Harris has been rough. He just can't seem to put it together consistently offensively although not many have this year.

Oops, I was more negative than actual. 27th in RF, 28th in LF, 29th in CF

I know there's been injuries the last two years, but Mike's number have declined each year since his rookie season. A far cry from the days of the Braves threads anointing him as the best hitter the team would have for the next 10-15 years. I got ripped a lot for saying pump the brakes a little.

Elder was serviceable. A strong 4 innings from the pen. Timely hitting. A 5 run 8th to come back and without a home run in the inning.

Almost the makings of a good ball club.

Great comeback win. Can we actually win back to back games?

I agree with what Acuna said about the no hustle double standard.
