Or have any interest in building a list? I think it could be a fun one to do, even do it by budget. $100 per year, $500 and/or $1,000

I don’t mean to hijack the thread - but here’s what I gathered.

There is disappointingly little information on these cards available online. Topps randomly inserted gimmicks into 2008 update - Longo, Fukudome, and Jay Bruce had inverted images, and two cards of Sarah Palin were issued (one as a teenage beauty queen and another as a VP candidate). These five cards were in unannounced by Topps at the time of release.

The fronts and backs of these cards is glossier than a normal card, the inverted player images are little blurrier (guessing slight pixelation from the software used to flip the image), the black writing on the back is bolder than a normal card, and the silver foil for the Topps logo and player’s name is replaced with gray ink made to look metallic.

I couldn’t find any information on an estimated print run or pack odds. All of the images I have seen online have been noticeably OC L/R - no maybe all cut from the same sheet.

Very few graded or sold on the secondary market since release. One on eBay now for a pretty steep price.

I’m curious for more info if anyone has any.

They weren't super-common of course but also not the rarest things in the world. I got one of the Fukudomes maybe 5 years ago, think I paid in the $20-25 range ungraded.
