I cashed out my Top Shot completely. It was a fun ride and experience and made some really easy cash. I just don't enjoy the current direction its going.

I've moved my funds into WAX which I find more enjoyable at the same time.

It's a different collecting zone. You can buy and sell all sorts of NFTs.. open packs (and list). It's hard to get your hands on the hot releases but I've found my niche in Topps Godzilla NFTs, GPK, MLB, and Bitverse comics.

I just realize the NBA video clips /40k and the collector score stuff wasn't worth it.

Cool…thanks. I’ll have to check it out some more. I knew Topps was tied in there somewhere with MLB.

How did you get the offer? What kind of pack was it?

Because like the member above stated, for this release of the Playoff Pack they didn't offer rebound packs for those who didn't make the queue, so you had to do something right?

100%, i've said it before and i'll say it again, there is a BIG difference between constructive criticism and voicing concerns and just complaining to complain.

I pulled 2 playoff moments I didn't care for and sold them both along with another of the commons which more than doubled my money. I then bought the Durant playoff block moment since I liked that moment from the first time I saw it. Selling off a bunch of my more common moments at $3-4 to go after other moments I'm more interested in.

I just happened to do some homework on the Series 2 Holo Icon Drop 3 Checklist of 27 players. That's the June 17 drop.

Checklist: 27 Players
Print each: /99
Total: 2673 Packs

Available Packs: 2500
Reserved Packs: 173

Total Holo Moments still in packs:224
Minus Reserved Packs: 51

So about 51 Collector Packs available assuming nothing was done with the reserved packs. I'm sure the NBA Players got a few though.

Malcom Brogdon and LaMelo only have 3 and 4 respectively left in packs on the low side. Cole Anthony and Darius Garland have 14 and 12 left in packs on the high side. The average available of each player in packs are roughly 8.

As for Holo Icon challenges which are clearly for the whales..about 40 are completed each time with many holding high values of $5k plus. The current active is Kyrie and Luka. Unfortunately, the Luka Challenge includes the $7k LaMelo Ball. It'll be interesting to see where the Mint Run lands on him.

Nice research there. I've started to completely ignore the Holo drops since it seems like it caters just to collectors who buy/hold and not anyone who has sold for profits.

I got the email too - there was a recent release i've lost track of where they never remind me my spot in the queue and wasn't offered a rebound pack - so that could be it

I ended up holding the KD MGLE, and seeing the prices for the Challenge, Im toying around with this idea.

KD price is staying somewhat steady around 1400 with a low around 1300. The remaining 8 moments are currently just above 1200.

If I grab the others and get the Kyrie, I figure it will settle around 750-1000. Maybe more if the mintage ends up being ultra low (Im not factoring in the possible serial lotto premium).

Personally, I think the KD will hold value fairly well since its his first MGLE, but just for the sake of argument, Ill assume all MGLE 31 moments will get cut by 40%.

Do not over think it. If topshot keeps on minting endlessly and users keep running away, there will be many more low mint moments of great players.

TS management is so unreliable and have no true direction. TS is trying to please everyone but eventually they backstab every type of user from small , flippers, whales,etc.

Hope TS just shut down the challenges, mint packs by the 1,000,000's and let the gamblers buy and break packs till they give up chasing #1 and Jersey #'s . Management just stop using social media. Reboot and start up next pre season.

How can anything be this bad since the peak in Feb ? It is ridiculous to see such crazy decisions. Just shows how great this idea is, with so much bad decisions and it is still going.

REBOOT 2.0 2022 NBATopShot Season should be great. See you all next season

I do agree they minted way too many playoff moments, and not sure why they are making new round 1 moments during the conference finals. Who wants round 1 moments from teams that lost? I think they will adjust to user feedback on this.

It's not a good sign that the total market cap continues on a descent even with the addition of 10s of thousands of moments into the market.

Market cap that was once over 1B is now 636m and has declined steadily even after the addition of all these new moments.

Might be apples to oranges but I collect the NBA Playoffs insert from Hoops for my team. And they only made it out of the first round once.

I actually think we'll see some enormous price drops across the board.

I have my eyes on a couple of big moments to go in on.

Selling is hard right now. Buying to flip is also tricky. People are shutting it down for the season.

I just hope there's a RIB series that most can get in on.

i am neutral . Just waiting on the sidelines for something or some signal that TS is moving in the right direction. Still got about 500 moments , sold off all higher value moments but one $1000 moment. Totally different direction for me now and keeping everything under $100 moments .

TS has so much potential, but potential and ideas are only as good as the execution of those ideas and TS is terrible at execution right now.

I hope you're right and there's some big price drops on the MGLEs, there's a few I wouldn't mind adding. It's gonna be interesting to see what they do with the RIB series.

I've taken this as an opportunity to better position myself for upcoming drops by building a collector score. With some patience I have been able to build my collector score over the past several weeks from from around 260 to around 1360 by completing my Knicks Series 2 set and doing the all-player Hornets set. It was kind of fun. I had pulled the Ball from a pack, so I was able to complete the rest of the set for $75 with careful purchasing, way less than the expected price.

Now I'm picking off low-priced Cool Cats and low-priced moments to drive my score up. I'm not looking to buy any high-priced moments right now. I just want to be able to get in on some of the packs I have not been able to previously.

And the way I look at it is that I've probably spent $450 in total. That's probably what I could sell my moments for. That's also about what I spend (Well $400) on one card from the vintage set I am working on, so the amount of fun, research, planning, and sniping I've done for that amount has been worth it to me.

Plus, waiting for my challenge to complete has me feeling a little like Flounder in Animal House.

Minor nit, collector score isn't updated in real time. I'm going for Cavs moments and there isn't an easy way for me to tell what I need to complete the set since Series 2 is pretty vague given all the inserts they've put out. It says I have 11/15 Series 2 moments but I know I have more than that.
