I feel that it would have been wiser to have those two cards end at the same minute. I would have given a 30 minute or so buffer in case there were underbidders who were interested in both that decided to bid on the other when they saw they lost out on the first one.

I consigned a card once through 4sc and they took into consignment 2 additional, identical cards to mine and had them end at the exact same minute. it seemed odd to me then also.

I have not consigned through them since.

Definitely high as of late on the contenders and I saw the YouTube video of someone buying the 9 refractor for $40k

yes, they seem to be on the rise lately. there was a guy on the brady FB page who paid $49k for a BGS 9/10 contenders last month. he took some grief from some who thought he overpaid. I am beginning to think he may not have overpaid at all.

Would you say that’s the best card to try and buy now given the overall years? As far as any early babe Ruth is a ton, but look at the year, ‘52 mantle is obviously insane, but 1952 lol, ‘86 Fleer Jordan insane value, but 1986

I know it could be a wait but based on history, 2000 Brady’s (especially contenders) look like they will have ridiculous value in the future, compared to now

If someone is say in their 30’s, could be part of a legit retirement plan in 25 years. Maybe the biggest part, we’ll see lol but of course they still need their Roth IRA, taxable account, work 401k if they have one etc

Coaches can only do so much from the sidelines lol they’re definitely overrated in general. Everyone should have the same basic idea, just it’s up to the players to execute

A penalty, fumble, interception, made or missed field goal, incomplete pass that should have been caught, or incredible catch, blocked punt/kick, all these things happen despite coaching

Say the whole season Andy Reid is hospitalized with heart disease or something, KC is still going to win the same amount of games with or without him. It’s not like he’d have the same
Success without Mahomes, all the years without him and one ring

Top 5 teams and worst 5 teams. Say in March the coaches switched, of course the top teams are going to win a lot of games still and the bottom 5 still won’t win a lot

while i loved BB, I have always thought players>coaches.

look at TB12 and BB careers after they parted ways.

BB went from a playoff team to, well, not

TB12 took a 7-9 team to a SB championship

What do you all think about the 2000 Pacific Revolution #128 ? I know it's his college jersey but do you think it will hold it's value with only 300 made?

People here hate pacific lol even the ones numbered less than 100! They’ll probably tell you it’s his worst looking uniform out of any etc

Me, /300 with no parallels, that’s why the price is what it is!

For some reason the pacific parallels /399 or /999 etc just aren’t very valuable, but the revolution is due to having no parallels

A big thing, especially with people here, is that you can’t go by just serial numbers

The pacific and paramount parallels that are really low numbered would be a fortune then

Compared to something like chrome where there’s a million of them available daily lol but pAtS uNiForM

Thanks! Selfishly I just picked up a PSA 8 and think I might have overpaid at 4k. A BGS 9 sold for 4k last week. Oh well, I'll just hang onto it and hope it goes up in value...

Absolutely! A very nice card and a fairly expensive one too, look up sold listings/asking prices

down the road that $4k will look like a bargain

One of my favorite Brady rookies. The foil is great, most limited base rookie and looks much better in hand than it does online. Super tough grade as well. Most recent PSA 10 sale was 8/6/25 for $27K, up 2K from 6/20/25.

it is one of my top 2 or 3 pacific brady rookies. I would not worry about overpaying, I think in the long run, brady rookies will only increase.

I really like prizm and vanguard a little more. i know they are not as rare, but I just think they are more attractive. totally subjective opinion.
