I have no clue what i am doing. Been stating luck and timing plays a big role in any investment or business.

Again, i have absolutely no clue about crypto. So like with TS, i just bought a whole bunch of crypto (similar to the mutual fund theory) to spread out my "risk" .

This is what i bought in weighted order.

So thankful I only put in $21 into this thing. The little message that they've added at the bottom that says "# of people with access to withdrawals: 5000 (3000 recently added)" sounds like BS. Wonder how the discord is going?

Reminds me of the digital Topps apps like Bunt.

Early days, the digital cards sold for huge money because pack drops were scarce and affordable (free in some cases) and everyone wanted in on the next thing.

As soon as the company got it all sorted out and packs became easier to purchase (due to paywalls!) the overall interest waned.

Sure, the digital bunt cards still hold some value and are bought/sold/traded but the overall portfolio values are fractions of what they were in the first year or two of releases.

I see this going the same way - as soon as the bugs are worked out and the flood of wannabe players can buy all the $49.99 packs they want, values will plummet on all but the very top cards.

Technically you can mine bitcoin on your laptop, but the energy cost would be 1000X what you'd get out of it.

Man, if all of that 40k was in your dapper account, by Christmas you'd be able to withdraw it!

it's only 12-15X when the cash is physically in your bank account or hand.

100% true. It is only a scam when a company shuts down or vanishes overnight.

Wallstreet and crypto has a great history of that happening.

But you wouldn't know about the crypto history since you've only been in it for maybe 3 weeks right?

It is what it is. TS has so much to figure out. But for me, the risk was small like cracking wax.

I am sure many here talking like perfect investors made bad investments many times. Especially with sportscards.

But sports cards aren't an investment vehicle at least to me personally.

Or at the minimum, the investment side comes second to the joy I get from the hobby. Can you say the same for anyone using Topshot?
