I sent six more cards in and they were delivered this morning and marked as received this afternoon. They seem to be firing on all cylinders over there.
Also I just sent them from the Chicago area on Weds so will be getting these back much much faster than I’d first expected. My first sub should pop next week. Last edited by bobducca; 08-20-2021 at 04:29 PM. |

I was about to ask where to find those images and just found them in the profile Part of my account! Really cool as this is the first time grading with SGC! I see grades for both the 8/2 and 8/3 orders and the Images for the 8/2 order. I think they take few extra hours to upload the images for my 8/3 order that popped today. Really cool and happy to have tried SGC for the first time. The images work well too for people that would like to see their cards before they arrive all tuxed up!!
Definitely will be sending in more cards to SGC and hope the prices of their slabs can continue to gain some traction on the other grading companies. |

my images from my last orders, a few months ago, are the only ones up in my profile section.
Hopefully they will have them up tonight |

I wish they would of just held off on moving mine to "Post Grading" today, if we cant see the grades/images yet.
They havent updated the Pop Report on a few cards I submitted that they have never graded before either. Does anyone think we will see the grades this weekend? Would be awhole lot better if we did man |

Sending my first SGC order on Monday!
20 cards - mixed bag of Ohtani RCs. Not waiting 18 months for PSA to open back up… |

Good idea and good luck. I hope you remembered to check the pop report in your choices. All Ohtani RC’s are moving up in SGC 10, but some are better 10 options. I have sent multiple Ohtani SGC orders. Another one was received 8/9. Also PSA VALUE options would not at best come back online until mid 2022 IMO. 2023 getting those cards? No thanks.

Thanks! Hope you get some nice grades too! Here are two photos of what I consider the highlights of my most recent SGC submission... these cards are just nasty!

Go for it! I was strictly PSA for almost ten years until they shut down earlier this year. Went with SGC over the last few months and have been really happy with the grades and service. I look into my crystal ball and I see A LOT of really nice cards ending up in SGC holders over the next year or two!

I feel like SGC is finally capitalizing off the the clusterfudge PSA and BGS are in. I honestly don’t even know what good BGS is anymore. SGC will never pass PSA, but I feel like is can pass BGS soon. It’s possible.

BGS can grade as good as anyone and have nice secure slabs, albeit clunky. They just arent great at running a business anymore, which makes them vulnerable.

I really want BGS to come back strong than ever. They haven't been a player for years it seems. Poor wait times and the leadership just seems to not want to build out infrastructure and push their brand during the peak of our lifetimes. Mind blowing.
Having said that, SGC seems to be slowing down. What once was 3-4 day TA is pushing 15, and growing. We shall see how strong they are at "scaling up." I see this being a yin-yang between the grading companies with PSA being the primary option, and between the 3-4 other players, the winner at any given time will be the one with the fastest service for the lowest price. Outside of Ohtani, $30 is just way too much for the premiums. Would submit a ton at $10-$12/card, something similar to CSG rates. But SGC has no interest in scaling staffing to support the volume they would receive at those prices, so they will continue to have a small sweet spot niche.

Their wait times are just as long as PSA, their grading prices are close to PSA’s, and those 9.5’s they dish out sell for considerably lower than PSA 10’s (even with strong subs). As a buyer, primarily, I’ve been able to find some good deals that way, but I would never send my cards in there for grading.
