Roham was on Twitter spaces today, and some highlights I saw were:

All 60k will be turned LE. Future commons wills be 30K or 9999 only. (I'm assuming for base packs?)

A rare pack drop next week. Like the old days.

Future Loot packs will be $9. Basically base packs but will have chance at rare or legend. 3 moments only (This is what I communicated in this thread should have always happened when they wanted to do loot packs. Price is perfect. )

Historical legends will not be counted towards Full-Team completion anymore in the future, but if you have the moment, it will substantially be given a CS boost.

I got a question about series 1 sets. How are these moments released?

More than 2 thirds are still in packs? Which packs, if they're sold out?

What am I missing?

Well, i definitely didn't join early, but I think if they are in packs still, it means the users who bought them haven't opened & there is a portion of those packs TS still has for distribution like challenges etc.

What he really is saying.
"TS has messed up and there are not enough satisfied users at the moment. If we continue at this rate, everyone will leave. So we need to go back to simple times again and not mess around too much. Hope it is not to late .

or

"we made alot of money for ourselves, time to listen to users for a couple months now"

They are slow-bleeding out the Series 1 packs over time so they don't flood the market. These are the packs that you have to trade like 350 trade tickets for.
So they release 500-1000 at a time to keep the market for those moments from crashing.

what do you mean about this? which moments are historical legends? Like retired players...

They didn't touch much on this, but I believe Jacob's exact words were "historical moments", but the legend moments came first to my mind which is why I typed that. (Hornacek, VC Raptors, DRose Bulls, etc)

But I believe they mean any throwback bottlenecks. (RIB Steve Nash, etc)

They want to allow people to collect any team they desire. For ex: OKC could be someone's favorite team, but they probably chose to collect the Hornets because no one wants to pay 20k for a KD RIB, so they want people to buy who they really like without having to worry about being excluded from doing so.

A total 360 IMO based off previous communication.

All they care about is $$$$$$$$$$$. they are in the business to make money and pay back VC. Which i totally understand their side of the coin.

We get the opportunity to some how fight Dapper and the early adaptors to be the .0001% that make money some how.

Tough odds at this point.

He is in the flash challenge for this weekend. Wait till it drops after the challenge expires.

Last time I checked on the moment it was $390, so to me that isn't much of a jump to ponder about. Plus, he's one of the best young players.

Wow. The Anthony Edwards windmill dunk challenge is going to end up being limited to close to a legendary.

Jordan Clarkson is the bottleneck and there are only 75 of them and the wildcards are all going for over 2.5k.

They just tweeted some changes to the challenge, so won't be that rare, but still should be less than 250.

So it was only up for a short time before they changed the wording, but if you look at the throwdowns pack page, when it lists the players in the pack, Ja Morant and then in parenthesis it states (new reward format)

The original wording said “craft reward”

Seeing craft reward, that to me says it’s going to be a challenge where the moments you use to complete the challenge, will be burned and removed from circulation. Similar to in video games when you craft an object, the materials used to create the objects are destroyed

Will be curious how this is rolled out. And the requirements

Whenever things are going negative, TS always has the Roham card as a “stop the bleeding technique”

Market always goes up after one of Roham’s Q&As.

Lots of positives, also a Top Shot Convention was mentioned which is interesting. Wonder where that would be

Also he mentioned that TS is dedicating over 10 million in USD/Flow to “builders in the Top Shot ecosystem”

So perhaps an airdrop of FLOW/more rakeback? Coin airdrops are becoming pretty common in crypto, especially with the release of Apecoin for BAYC holders

Market since Saturday is up like 15-20%, so looking at recent sales, he’s rise about 50 bucks from last week, which for a desired TSD of an incredible young player, nothing suspicious here IMO

This is why i am confused with users that believe the road maps. The maps change at any time. how can you plan for the future as a user?

TS should just go back in time, keep it simple. Have simple challenges and the only thing that should be added was BURN the trade ins. But that BURN is not a new idea, it is the only true and correct way that should have been done from the beginning. WTF.

Would be interesting if they make people give up a legend, Ja debut or something crazy. I'm interested to see the exact details.

I doubt it’ll require a Ja debut or legendary. Challenges on TS have 98% of the time been the same rarity tier especially following pack drops. So commons for common, rares for rares, etc. Now that is different for flash challenges but this is pack drop centric so I believe it makes sense to only analyze the pack centric challenges

IMO it’ll probably require a combo of S2 throwdowns and S3 throwdowns. This way they burn down some of those high S2 throwdown mints

I also think this crafting challenge could give a few buying windows for buying floor S3 throwdowns. Once when a challenge ends and as people dump, and again when they announce what the actual crafting challenge entails. I expect we won’t find out how the crafting challenge works until after the 3 rewards are done and distributed
