Other awards they could add:
All-Star Game MVP
Finals MVP

Coach of the Year? They'd have to add coaching moments. But there are some that come to mind. Maybe they'd have to license them differently, since they have their own association.

Well, hold off for now. I'm just guessing at this point. But I figured that some people may be interested for collecting or flipping opportunities.

Badges! Challenges! Collector score!

Rinse repeat.

Are we allowed to be critical of Dapper on here yet?

This weekend's Flash Challenge is actually really easy. A whole bunch of $3 moments gets you a free playoff pack.

Note: If you submitted it immediately after it went live, check to make sure you had the Anthony Edwards moment. They mentioned on discord that they omitted it accidentally. Looks like the second time they did that recently. They really should email out to the people (or put a pop up on their main page) when they screw up creating the challenges, and require different moments than originally listed.

No, never, otherwise you'll be labelled a hater and have people DM you to tell how hateful you are.

Not like I didn't have that happen to me.

Yes, as you're part of the reason why this is still going.

Nice. Got a Ball and Poku and got $16 for them. Will probably be the last air drop I get since I sold all 560+ moments.

How many times does he travel and/or carry during those 30 seconds? I counted 3 times.

I got 3 packs: Kuminga, Aleksej, Lebron (2x) and Ball (2x).

It's free, so I was happy.

Didn't even look at the moment. lol
Sold them as soon as I opened. I knew they would crash, so i made a good decision selling at $26.

Now i have free dapper for playoff challenges.

If you still have your hustle and show airdrop I'd sell it asap. They're requiring 5 hustle and show series 2 moments to earn the AD card.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/nft-sal...ng-11651552616

'The NFT market is collapsing.

The sale of nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, fell to a daily average of about 19,000 this week, a 92% decline from a peak of about 225,000 in September, according to the data website NonFungible.

The number of active wallets in the NFT market fell 88% to about 14,000 last week from a high of 119,000 in November.'

That doesn't sound good.

'An NFT of the first tweet from Twitter Inc. co-founder Jack Dorsey sold in March 2021 for $2.9 million to Sina Estavi, the chief executive of Malaysia-based blockchain company Bridge Oracle.

Earlier this year, Mr. Estavi put the NFT up for auction. He didn’t receive any bids above $14,000, which he didn’t accept.

Mr. Estavi said failure of the auction wasn’t a sign that the market is deteriorating, but was just a normal fluctuation that could occur in any market. The NFT market is one that is still developing, he said, and it is impossible to predict how it will look in a few years.

“I will never regret buying it because this NFT is my capital,” he said.'

It's not your capital anymore! It's gonzo.

Everything is going down, have you seen the card market? Down arrows across the board.

Not sure how they're measuring daily sales, but that data is way off. I'm sure Top Shot has 19,000 daily sales alone.

The card market is not down 92%

There is still plenty of confidence in buying cards. TS....no.

TS really effed it up.

Some NFTs will hold value while most will not.

Some cards will be able to hold their value while most will not.

That is true about most collectibles in this time of increased asset diversification.

I wouldn't write off NFTs just yet. Then again I've been wrong before but I just collect what I like and it happens to be both physical and digital.

Cards have a long and storied history of being collected, invested in, bought, sold, and passed down to future generations. NFTs do not. NFTs are pogs and beanie babies but on steroids because a few hype bois convinced people these things were the future.

This is exactly what people like Rifleman and I were trying to say yet got shot down countless times. I got dunked on for collecting Hot Toys figures, which as I type this, has actually increased in value over the year. Dapper shot itself in the foot over and over again. It was clear that collector score was their attempt to keep whales happy while creating a massive barrier to entry for new users. Yet, people here defended them.

Hate to say we told you so, but alas, here we are.

TopShot is one thing but I am talking about NFTs in general and the technology behind it which is Blockchain.

I've been collecting cards since the 90s and it wasn't a cool and mainstream thing until recent years. Most people in the space does not care about the history of the card, to them it's just a piece of cardboard that they can potentially flip for more money.

I collect for the fun of it so as long as there's other's like me, I don't see either markets going to zero.

I didn't write TS or NFTs off.

I still have mine. But there's no hiding from the fact that it's lost a ton of confidence. And a lot has to do with how TS changed things.

They lost me a while ago. I brought 5 or 6 people to TS. TS couldn't keep them engaged.

Also, after 6 months of waking up at God awful hours for drops out here in Aus, the best packs I ever got was the ones everyone else got too.

Throwdowns S2 an Archive (which they totally effed up the challenges along with WNBA).

Just really poor management.

Now I see the moments have tanked so hard. Kudos to those grinding though that are maybe doing OK still.
