Thanks to the IG influencers. Never understood why anyone would want a digital image of a card.

This one deserves a bump. "they're going to steal everyone's money was already put to rest"....

Narrator: "No, it definitely was not laid to rest".

Marketplace sales dipped below $2 million for the first time since December 2020 in June.

God I miss the pumpers a bit, it was fun to go back and forth with them a bit. Spend your money however you want but don't try to convince others to make the same mistakes you did.

I look back and am amazed by how much money I made off of an initial $25 deposit. That was the only cash I ever put in, the rest was house money. I didn't cash out at the top but pretty damn close. It was so clear that it was a pump and dump. This team had no app, no vision, no pathway out of beta, and whatever ideas they did implement, were awful and harmful in terms of attracting new users which killed all growth. Their main concern was to keep the whales from selling and keep that money on the platform for as long as they could.

What I learned from all of this is you don't have to be remotely smart to make money but you have to have some level of intelligence and common sense to stay rich otherwise your luck will run out because someone smarter than you will find a way to get your money out of your pocket and into theirs.

It's funny how some of these crypto people watch that movie and idolize Belfort without realizing they're the rubes Belfort made a fortune on.

Been tryin to tell ya'll. BTC is him.

Smash n' dash these fly-by-night crypto thotianas. But keep your long game shekelz in Buttcoin.

You would have doubled your money if you got in last winter.

Stop overthinking this.

Treat buttcoin like a F500 stock. Unless you daytrade, there's no reason to be hawk eyeing charts.

Buy a little here and there...accumulate, and check back every half year.

Today is the day you can start unlocking moments if you did one year ago. Sadly I fell for it and it only benefitted whales like the OP.

Here's to everyone else who is going to unlock their collections too.

It's a mechanic to lock a Moment for a duration in order to earn reward.

He's back, and ready to pump the thread again! And more moments coming online after the unlocking, can't be good for anyone!

Hey.... I like where prices are headed.

There's still one moment I want... Evan Mobley's NBA Debut moment, since he's scoring his first bucket on a pass from Darius Garland, and I have both Game worn jersey's from that game hanging in my office. It's down to $44 now, but why not wait till it drops even more?

And who knows... if they ever let moments drop below $1, I might start picking up common moments of some of my favorite players if they are $0.25 or less.

And then what would be happening at that point: Collecting!

That would be key...if they did allow under $1 trading and charge no fees under $1-2....get a lot more movement out there.

For a long time I've speculated that there's a chance that these can become collectable one day, similar to how cards are. But it involves the common stuff with massive print counts and nothing to distinguish it from the next moment to become dirt cheap, the way base cards are.

If there are people out there that still pay $0.25 for a Chris Paul base card to fill out a binder, then you can convince me that there would be people willing to pay the same for a TopShot moment without ever planning to sell it, but just to add it to a collection because that's what we do. Look at COMC. People buy cheap commons all the time
