I find it funny we celebrate something that is going to happen regardless of what we do without some sort of historical relevance.

Happy New Years everyone had a nice quiet evening at home except for the clowns in the neighborhood that chose to waste their money on fireworks and proceeded to set them off till 1 in the morning. Poor animals are still nervous. Took my medicine at about 10 so haven’t been forgetting lately.

The lady that led my Cursillo group passed away last night after a short illness, I knew she was sick but didn’t think it was life threatening. She went to heaven at an early age.

1 in the morning? Lucky you. At 4 this morning they were still shooting them and they are shooting them again now. I find it funny considering fireworks are illegal in the city limits, but they don't enforce it. I wonder what laws I could get away with breaking?

In this day and age probably anything short of murder and even that is questionable.
