I trust the gamestop kid more than I trust a cardshop. Gamestop kid has a lower chance that they have the card I am submitting and switches it out or says the mail got lost. Havent had an issue yet and will continue using the tried and true Gamestop system. The kids at my Gamestop don't care about sports cards just as much as I don't care about pokemon.

So far I am pleased with the GameStop process. The card collection process at the store is good. They take pictures of the cards, label each card, and then put them in sealed bag that has label over the opening so you know if they have been tampered with or not. Also, it’s been about a month turnaround on the grades where people in the regular PSA thread are seeing their cards stuck in various phases for weeks. I will definitely use the service again. Now I do have some bigger cards that I want to send, and those I just may send myself due to potential value and don’t need a quick turnaround on them.

you keep hearing all these stories about Gamestop making huge profits from the PSA colab etc.... then a report comes out in the last couple of days saying they are closing what is being called an significant number of stores. I've read up to 1,000 but who knows and invest heavily in Bitcoin and other crypto currency instead.

On friday I found out my grades via email at 1pm, and then at 5pm they called and said "Ready for Pickup". Cards in hand for my 25 January submission. I do not believe that they sent me grades, and then fedexed directly to my store in 4 hours time. So that was kind of weird.

For those with GameStop submission experiences...
How are they at handling items that do not generate an existing PSA label? Things like sketch cards or cards not yet graded by PSA (but maybe other cards from the set have been graded). |

Dropped off a TCG and sports sub today, I noticed the the sticker they use on the sports cards say PSA-Value on them. So I wonder if these are getting processed as value and not bulk.

Gamestop doesn't enter any info. They take pictures and ship to PSA. I would assume that PSA makes the correct identification during research and ID.

Does not sound optimal for ensuring a properly labeled item. PSA will certainly make mistakes with this process. If there is no review function, I guess it may be wise to avoid submitting items with no PSA spec #. |

Just saw the PSA announcement that they are now on a 4 month turnaround time for direct TCG submissions. If the turnaround on Gamestop orders is still 5-6 weeks, may see a spike in Gamestop submissions.

Same here. Last 2 gradings, I have been called to pick up the same day I got my grades. Also, I seen the labels on my 2 new subs I did on Saturday, and they do state Value and not Bulk on them.

Just a side note, one of my recent cards that came back was a Randall Cunningham RC and was graded as a PSA10. It is valued on their App as around $1100. They did not charge me any extra at time of pickup, even though it was worth more than the $500 insurance put on all cards.

![]() You have one in PSA 10? It's pretty cool what some of the 1980's cards go for in Gem Graded Condition. I plan on taking chances on maybe buying and subbing more that I find. I got this one on X for $5, so I am up almost 23K% according to the PSA app. I have a couple more 80's cards sitting in QA status right now. Any day now it should hit Graded and I should be able to pick them up. One being a Hershel Walker RC.

That's not too bad I guess. Wish you didn't get hit with the cost though. I feel fortunate that I didn't have to pay.

For those of you who have submitted through Gamestop and are saying they take a picture and put the cards in a sealed bag, etc. Do they do the picture and put it in the bag in front of you?
I have a few cards in the $400-600 range that I want to send, but I am super worried about theft of the cards or the cards just disappearing during submission. |
