If you guys really wanna know whats up with everything being discussed here from disappearring stuff, comc, the psa tout/header about how “they've improved turn around times to 45 days for value” two weeks ago and its now back to being “we are experiencing a surge, expect delays”, to vaulting delays, to estimated completions being consistently overshot, then check out the post I made in this section a few threads down that starts with “Importing Tariffs..”

takes some time and brain cells to process but when it clicks, youll get it.

(not flexing, but 15 year sub vet. have a few direct plugs in at PSA. i know the est times, the clock doesnt start jazz, been thru covid boom and spot the difference between “typical PSA business day slow” to this is BS slow. Thick skin too, so tear me apart if you cant process how its effd up everything PSA)

EDIT: that thread was mainly about the emphasis on why ebay/psa is holding money for over two weeks for a card that arrived weeks ago that stll hasnt been guaranteed prospective, but then i was let in on the real reason and to why the wheels fell of with EVERYTHING at PSA from subs, selling, vaulting, ebay guarantee program, to outgoing sub delays, outgoing shipping delays, everything PSA. Its not necessarily their fault, but they coulda said sumpthin’ !!! just keep in mind, everything at PSA, whether subbing or vaulting or ebay guarantee’ing, starts with one thing: receiving packages. and if that gets effed up in any manner, mayhem transpires.

PSA customer service told me it’s taking 2-3 weeks to scan in packages.

Wouldn't surprise me if instead of actually solving the issue, PSA just proceeds as they've been doing, but instead on their web site tracker for customers they just change it to show that it takes 3-4 months to scan in packages, while cards are actually in grading, etc.
Because that's when they start the clock.

Then they could promote the all-new "one business day turnaround time" for bulk orders, even though it still takes 3-4+ months to get your cards.

One of my orders has been in grading for 1.5 weeks. Another was received over 3 weeks ago and still not entered into the system. And I just sent another order out that prob won’t be back for 4 months. Might just start using SGC bc these turnaround times are insane.

At what point in the process are people getting upcharge emails? Before it would be when most steps were complete but before the "grades ready" had a green check.

Yes, it will be before the green check. They send you a pdf with all the grades and the upcharges.

How is an upcharge determined?

For example, I subbed a card that is raw about $450... but the last PSA 10 sold for $1332...

If my card gets a 10... and is in the Value Plus level (Max Insured: $500)... would it be upcharged?

It’s inconsistent, like everything else there. But I’ve been up-charged for a card valued at $700 in a $500 service level. I’ve also had a $2200 card go without an up-charge in a $400 service level.

Do delays affecting "Bulk and Value" apply to all value tiers, or just "Value"? I have some cards I submitted under Value Max.

I just had an order pop of JP Pokemon. I accepted all of the offers on the 10's. All of them were about the same net as if I sold them myself on ebay based on recent comps.

One offer was actually about $20 over recent ebay sales (Terastal Sylveon)
