Default Old school 92 93 upper deck high series

Needed to pull one of my favorite cards as a kid. The shaq was one of my prized possesions that my dad and I pulled together. Anyway, here are the results:
Larry Bird heroes nno

Like 12 MJs! (Didn't expect to get alot of these especially the base, which is probably my favorite base card of all time!)

3 15000 point club (No MJ)

Got the Shaq rc! Also pulled 2 shaq top prospects.

And the hit of the box outside if the shaq....

Michael Jordan hologram!

I remember that as a kid I opened a few packs of that at a card show once, back when those were still a thing that existed, and I pulled a Shaq RC. Then the dealer who sold me the packs, who was a nasty-ass old man with a permanent scowl on his face told me to get away from his table because I was taking all his good cards and banned me from buying from him again. I hope he's dead and burning in hell now.

Anyway, looks like you got a decent box for what it is.

1992-93 skybox and hoops were the biggest thing around when I was 13. I still have the Shaq rookie card you pulled from when I was young as well. Iconic. Fun break.

Great break.

Are the Rookies like Spree and Horry in the low series then?

I think they included the low series cards in these, too. They just swapped the #32 Magic and #33 Bird for Jim Jackson and Doug Christie, and the Shaq RC instead of the redemption.

The all-star mj base is CLASSIC, such a sick card.

I wonder if there's a 1/1 buyback auto version of it somewhere, would be I-N-S-A-N-E.

On the pack it says every insert is 1:9, but I only got 3 15000 point club, 3 larry birds, and 1 hologram. Either every insert combined has a 1:9 shot and I hit extras or every individual insert is 1:9 and I got robbed.

I thought the 15000 Point Clubs were like 1-2 per box, but it has been ages. They were one of the key exclusive chase sets of the run.

I loved how UD would give each type of pack an exclusive insert set, not just a colored parallel like they usually do today. You could break jumbos or those locker boxes to find something different.

I got 3. The pack odds say 1:9.

Ok, I saw that. I thought you meant it didn't specify which insert. Weren't there some 1:36 inserts that year?

I remember pulling 3 Alonzo Mourning Rookie Standout's out of 1 box of this. It was right when Zo hype was at it's peak too & he was starting to eclipse Shaq prices. I don't remember what I sold them for but I know it was a lot for a 13 year old kid.
