Hey everyone, use to collect cards 25+ years ago and my 9 year old wants to start collecting together, so I'm super excited. Things have changed a lot in the card game, and have no clue where to start. Hope I can learn a lot, so be prepared for a ton of noob questions. Hope to meet some great people, and collect some great cards!😃

Welcome to the boards and back to the hobby. My advice pick a sport and start off with retail as it is cheaper.

I saw the title and thought I don't remember writing this introduction. I guess I'm not the only Jesse in CA who collects cards. I'm relatively new to this forum as well, but welcome.

Welcome aboard! I myself got back into collecting after a 20 year hiatus. It can be quite overwhelming with the sheer amount of brands and types produced nowadays, so for me I just stick to a few criteria when making purchases. Great to see you sharing it with your children!
