Saturdays are the best on Extra Innings. You can flip through the channels and listen to the endless parade of "homer" announcers, from the mild to the grotesque. I understand wanting to please your employers, but some of them cheer like fans, for pete's sake. My favorite announcers have always been the ones who don't seem to be rooting for either team. They are few and far between, although even homers know to moderate when calling nationally-televised games....
