I figured since the game comes out shortly, I would gauge interest in a Madden 17 league!

Here are some details, some aren't posted yet since the game cannot be accessed, but I will update it once the game comes out.

League Rules:

Rules:
1.HAVE FUN and show SPORTSMANSHIP win or lose
2.NO QUITTING. Take a loss as you would a win....with Pride
3.NO CHEATING- nanos and whatever other glitches pop up this year
4.No NO HUDDLE OVERUSE. Meaning not every play or every other play.
5.MUST punt on 4th and 4 or more if not passed the 50 yard line unless losing in the 4th qtr.
6. DO NOT RUN UP THE SCORE. If you've got a nice lead and there's no way you will be beat please show sportsmanship.
7. If game disconnects due to EA servers you will start off at same score, and replay game from there for 4 quarters unless you both agree to terms.
8. MAKE SURE YOU GET BACK TO THE MAIN MENU BEFORE TURNING OFF YOUR PS4 AT THE END OF A GAME.
9. Your opponent has UNTIL 6:00 PM CT the day before the advance to respond to a game request. After that time, please PM me and I will put them on autopilot. Please don't PM before that time UNLESS you need to play sooner. I will work it on a case by case basis.

**2 strike rule in effect for regular season/playoffs. If you miss 2 consecutive games AND/OR quit 2 games without notice you will be booted from league. STAYING ACTIVE is a MUST for this league to be successful and QUITTERS WILL NOT be tolerated.**

FA's, Trades and Advancing Schedule (These are set in place so no one abuses the FA pool or makes bogus trades. If you have a better suggestion for FA's and Trades feel free to bring it to the table for review)

1. FA's are only to be picked up if your starting player at that position gets hurt. (EX. A. Johnson gets hurt so I pick up P. Burress). You can sign FA's prior to the start of the regular season, nothing excessive though.

2. Trading will be based on Rating points. Players in trade must be within 5 +/- pts. (Ex. Want a 90 Rated player must trade a player between 85-95 Rating)

3. I WILL BE ADVANCING EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY AT 7PM CT unless of course all games are played before then. This should give everyone enough time to get your games in. Communication is KEY please message your opponent and coordinate game times. 7pm will be cut-off time on advance day, meaning if by 6pm you have not played your game and your opponent is online you will be set to "auto pilot" so game can be played versus CPU and once week is advanced "auto pilot" will be turned off so you can regain control of team.

I will have a start date for the league once the league gets an appropriate amount of owners (I'd like 16 if possible, but will go forward with less)

No huddle overuse means that you cannot just continuously use no huddle over and over and over. No huddle here and there is fine but using it after every single play is unacceptable and considered spamming, unless its of course in a situation that you'd have to use no huddle (1:30 left and no timeouts for an example)

ok, how good are you peeps? I am a casual player. I used to do Tommy's Xbox one but losing 80-14 a lot was not fun with all the pro madden players he had.

I won last years league going 15-1 in the regular season but close to 50% of the games were against the CPU until playoffs. In this league, an 80-14 margin in not tolerated as running up the score is against the rules. You'll have fun in this league as it was fun for 95% of the time until the commish last year ruined it, which is why I am running it this year!

I could possibly be interested, but had a question about the no cheating. I don't consider nanos cheating at all if you're good enough at the game you can slide protect to block the different blitzes. IMO it takes away a huge part of the game

The thing is, 90% of players, even if they play the game enough, don't adjust to it simply because either A) they don't recognize the nano or B) they don't know how to adjust the line. This way makes it fair. What I consider "cheating" with a nano blitz is using that blitz EVERY play to where the opponent literally can't even hand the ball off. There is nothing against using that type of blitz here and there but every play on defense is unacceptable. We had the no overuse of the nano last year and there were no problems. I don't expect there to be any this year either with it!

May I suggest no trading with the CPU? I was in a league before and saw how easily the system could be milked. You could easily acquire top draft picks or high potential rookies for basically nothing before preseason, and have a team full of 90s after playing with them a year.

Let me mull this. Mainly because we will not have a preseason in the league so it should make it easier to prevent this. Last year there was some trades with the CPU but the CPU didn't undervalue the players on what they had to receive to pry them away. Also last year we didn't really run into any players abusing the trade feature so I am guessing it won't happen again this season.

That is were I always pre-order it. Not sure why many would pass up free 10 dollars. If your game club member, the new games are always 47.99!

Anyone play demo yet? Game feels nice especially the running game. Seems like DL and OL interaction is a little more effective than previous games.
