Default THE Certified 1/1 NFL Logo shield thread

I get random PM's all the time asking me if I'm squirrelling away a certain card. So here is the bulk of my Certified 1/1 Veteran hoard.

Sorry the pics are so random, but I'm pretty sure I got them all.

October Update:

I'm going to crack this one out of the silly Leaf/BGS no grade case

I don't do the autographed 1/1's. I have a couple that I pulled. But for $20 shipped I grabbed this anyway. I like Cushing.

2003 Leaf Certified was the 1st time any company made a true pack pulled 1/1 NFL Logo card. DLP did make a shield set for 1999 Certified, but that was sold as a complete set for charity and they were never found in packs.

And before anyone asks, I'm a buyer not a seller. I'm sorry if I killed your chances for a rainbow. Getting better pics of some of these is hard. I keep most of my better cards locked up remotely so I'm not always there to take a pic.

Making a scan is next to impossible as well.

I hope you enjoyed the show!

This is just ridiculous. No collector in the world should own/hoard such a collection.....JK very impressive. I have always been a fan of NFL logo patches, truly 1/1, for the most part.

Thats what got me hooked in 2003. Unlike today where you expect a 1/1 NFL logo set in each product. Back then it was truly unique.

Garbage players sold for $200-$300 routinely!

By and large these older shields still hold some of their value. It was always a deep checklist so some of these guys might not even have another shield out there.

The crazy part is, I have the Emerald, Gold, Blue & Red patch/jersey versions for almost half of them. So nearly 100 rainbows.

400+ Mirror Gold Patches, nearly 200+ Emeralds, well over 1,000 base jerseys from certified. And nearly every true rookie/auto from each year. I think I'm just over 500 cards from Fabric of the Game as well.

My last count was almost 5,000 Leaf/Donruss/Panini Certified cards from 1999-2016.

I have a sickness!

If I ever cash in my chips I'd hit up Brian Gray or something for a repack set like Wheeler did. Way too much for me to scan/sell on ebay.

awesome stuff! I loved certified up through 2012. It was my favorite product each year. Panini killed it after that with too many variations IMO but those look fantastic.

Very nice collection. Sad to see so many bengals in there though. Haha. If you did ever sell them feel free to hit me up.

What you see is what I have! I have the B-Marsh from 2010 as a dolphin, plus a 2007 Broncos one. I don't think I have seen a 2011 up for sale.

I think Thomas had a rookie shield, but I don't collect/follow the player worn RPM ones at all. I cant help with that.

If you ever want to send TO home, he can hang out with my other 2003 1/1 WR's, Chambers, Burress, Stallworth, Jenkins, Coles & Walker. He would never be lonely!
