Got this bad boy in the mail today, it was THE one to have being #d to his Jersey 33/33



Expecting big things from this kid this upcoming season

I agree that the duals were not necessary however the patch window is much bigger on the single patch ones

There was a Gorgui Dieng /5 listed on eBay recently for $200. Solid deal in my opinion, but I'm poor, and someone else hit the BIN before I was able to build up the card funds. Pretty bummed. These are gorgeous cards.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but how Panini used piping patches on the Turner, KAT, Winslow, and likely many others on this particular set (a set that is one of their most popular every year) really irks me the wrong way. You know they have better patches available, and if they don't, they should acquire them. They are from the rookie photoshoot after all, so it is on them to have the players throw on more jerseys for their products. What happens is Panini doesn't plan their releases well at all. They release so many low end products that feature patch cards that by the time Preferred, Immaculate, and maybe even Flawless comes out all the good patches have been used. If you look, many of KAT's early release patch cards feature legitimate patches. Now they feature pipes. Panini is scraping the bottom of the barrel just to make these patch cards in the last few releases.

Two of KAT's most important rookie cards (Preferred Silhouettes Prime /25 and Immaculate Aectate /32) have nothing but pipe patches. I, for one, will never buy these cards because of it.

nastybreaks pulled a Stanley Johnson Acetate RPA /3 on release day, it was the first or second case they opened.

I'm with you on this. One would think the person in charge of production would know to go with the premium patches for the premium products. In reality they probably send Joe Schmoe to the storage closet and tell him to grab a bag of KAT swatches.

The same Joe Schmoe that grabs the nasty patches for their lowest end product lol
