Beautiful card. There is something extraordinary about a 100+ year old card that looks as fresh and sharp as the day it was made.

Awesome card Leon. Is that the highest graded example?

Looking at that I can't see how it's only a 7 it's beautiful looking. So fresh and clean and the red pops like crazy.

There's something about that card that's just so beautiful. Going by design, I would personally take that Young over any other tobacco card. There's just something about it that "pops" for me.

When I saw this card in auction I knew I wanted it as I too think it's one of the best looking (caramel) cards in existence. If Heritage hadn't had my collection and was selling it I would have never been able to afford it.
I was already selling a really nice VG-EX E90-1 Young in that collection but this one blows it away. This, an R319 Goudey Ruth 144 (already acquired again) and the T205 Cobby (still on the hunt) are the 3 cards I like the most in pre-war.

Yes, it is the highest graded one in the hobby.

I live about an hour and a half from his hometown and grave site. At some point I'd like to stop out there.

LOL, Oh Bob you know it would be in a SGC slab and highly over graded if it came from the nypl.

On a serious note, that is an amazing card Leon.
