Default Best comic database?

Looking for the best way to setup a good database for my books. Someone recommended collectorzone.

A lot of people use Collectorz; myself included. Paired with the phone app it's worth every penny.

Comic Book Database Software, catalog your comic book collection on Windows or Mac OS X

I started using this app this year and highly recommend it as well. The scan function on the phone is great. Helps when you go to shows as well having your whole list with you.

I use comicbookrealm - it's free. I'm too cheap to pay :-)

I used to have it, then they dropped Mac support completely so I dropped them. It was a good program but really expensive and the prices didn't jive with Overstreet or eBay.

You can just use the phone app if you want and not purchase the desktop program. The prepaid you're talking about is to use their cloud service. If you want to be able to put your collection online so others can see it or to manage it online that's what it's for; never used it myself.

I personally purchased the desktop version and iphone version. I do all my data entry on my PC. Then I manually sync that to my phone. I think if you have the cloud service it all syncs automatically but I'm not positive on that.
