Default 2017 Topps S1 Award Cards

Seen quite a few blues and reds hit the market and a couple gold and autos.

Surprised I haven't seen a silver yet. Believe the print run of the silver is 50.

Wonder how hard it is to tell apart the base award and silver award.

Anyone hit one yet? Would appreciate a pic.

Thanks,

So, silver and gold are only from Walmart Silver Slugger cards.

Blue and Red are from both MLB Awards and Silver Slugger sets.

I'd thus expect to see many less Silver and Gold overall.

i wonder if the silvers look just like the whites.

with the way these are only in walmart initial run packs, they may go unnoticed

Actually...the above info was from Cardboard Connection. See below for conflicting info from Topps' Website...

"However, if you looked for cards of those who won fielding awards last year, the only place to find those are at Target. These cards showcase 18 players who won the award for best fielding in 2016. They also come with Blue, Red, Silver, and Gold parallels. Additionally, there are printing plates and some of the cards have autographed versions available."

Okay, I definitely hit one then. They're just like a shinier silver. They are very similar to the base, but you can tell the difference in hand.

So far I've been able to add both a Blue and Red of my PC. Holding out hope and Auto will surface.

Wouldn't everyone want the Gold version of a Gold Glove card? A Silver Gold Glove though, hmmm.

I like the 72 card $10 'packs' ... but those are overloaded with these award cards. Would rather have an automatic /2017 gold parallel or better chances at the other inserts.

So here is a picture of the silver variation. Perez is silver. I guarantee you the majority of these will go unnoticed, especially by the retail buying crowd.
