1989 Upper Deck High Series, 2017 Topps Jumbo & 2017 Topps Heritage

I just finished breaking open five boxes of cards and it was a lot of fun. I opened the following:

1 x 1989 Upper Deck High Series
1 x 2017 Topps Jumbo (2 Bonus Packs)
3 x 2017 Topps Heritage

1989 Upper Deck
I was not expecting too much out of this one. I have opened the high series before and only pulled Craig Biggio and Randy Johnson.

Too bad these guys did not have HOF careers.

I did manage to pull a total of 1 - Randy Johnson, 1 - John Smoltz and 1 - Omar Vizquel.

I also managed to pull the following:

Both of them were the last card in the pack and both of them are missing the top of the hologram on the back, but it was great to pull both of them.

Hits and best of the Bonus Packs.

Jose Altuve All-star Game Medallion
J.D. Martinez Jersey (This card is thicker than the medallion)
Aaron Sanchez black 45/66
Andrew Benintendi Bonus

and the best card from the box

Salute Legends Ozzie Smith Autograph.

2017 Topps Heritage

I opened three boxes and I was able to complete the base set and pulled 24 short prints. Here is the damage:

I did not realize what this next card was until I looked at the serial numbering. The front of the card looks like a regular chrome refractor to me, but it is the gold variety.

Whoever it was at Upper Deck that came up with the design for that 1989 set should be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame. Still, in my mind, the most beautiful set of cards ever produced.
