Default Zack Hample

Why all the hate on this guy?

I found his YouTube videos this weekend, and am hooked.

He's a bit.. much. Where's the video of him complaining about the other fan boxing him out with his elbows?

Beat me to it. Did this constantly during BP at the 2013 ASG and HR Derby. Also, that whole thing where he went to the game at Fort Bragg when it was supposed to be exclusively military personnel.

He posted a profile on a gay dating app to try and find someone to take him to that Fort Bragg game.

Nothing wrong with dating apps straight/gay/otherwise but that is a pretty weak thing to do to try and sneak into a game he wasn't welcome to attend

At least from the videos, it looks like he gives a lot of balls to kids. Seems like a good guy.

he does, and he does it off camera too. Only does it so it counts towards his total and then gives it away.

It's Hample with no question for me. Marlins man is a good guy by all accounts, and the most annoying thing I've seen people complain about is that he's on TV wearing Marlins gear at non-Marlins games.

If anyone has any proof of him pushing kids, let me see it. Also, his YouTube videos are really neat.

He did apologise for the fort Bragg incident.

So because he apologized, that makes it okay?

What would you like him to do? He realized his mistake, therefore donated $1,100 to a military based charity and gave all of his balls from the game to kids.

Also, the person that offered him the ticket is just as responsible, but that gets no coverage.

I like to watch his videos because it gives me tips on all the ball parks that I am going to visit.

Id like him to stop being a dbag for good, not for good publicity after he royally screws up.

although I understand why he did it, he made a big deal over the A-Rod 3000 hit ball.

He only apologized because he was found out. Otherwise i doubt he'd feel bad about it. Kinda like that Brandin Cooks /99 POS who came up with some cockamamie story about donating his Zeke Elliott to someone.

There is something definitely "off" about the dude. When you're pushing 40 and still bringing your mitt to the game and obsessing over baseballs, well... He also seems to fly off the handle on a regular basis and can come off as a major douche.

To each their own though. He is passionate about the game which I can appreciate.

Have seen him at Nats stadium he will do whatever it takes. Fort Bragg showed his true colors. Ruins it for other fans.

Very few can probably say they've donated 1k.

Didn't he say he had family that served in the military? IMO that made it okay for him to go to the game or was the game only for active military?

Only for active duty and select DOD, not for people offering money on Tinder or Grindr.
