Default 2017 Donruss Optic Baseball

Just wanted to see if anyone else out there is breaking this product? Thoughts?

Cannot bring myself to buy any more Panini Baseball products. No logos, no interest. Only buying Topps.

As usual I'll probably grab a blaster or two. I doubt I'll go hobby until (and if) the price drops significantly. Like next year or something lol

Looks like it's at $900 per case, which is $75 per box....is that a big jump from when they originally were up for pre sale?

Last year it was 900 a case at presell and for the first month or so, after that it went down to as low as $675 or at least what I got a few for. It was my favorite product last year and will probably get a case or two but will probably wait and see the checklist and also the price .

Oh, gotcha....didn't realize it went down that low. If it's anything like other 2017 products, it may go up. I thought regular 2017 Donruss was nice....added some cards to my PC and cards sold pretty well in the first couple weeks. Seems that Donruss is starting to create a following...just from what I've seen.

I'd agree with this, Donruss (and Optic) certainly have a following. No product in the history of ever has been discussed on here without a majority of people bashing it. I've seen boxes of Donruss selling very well, I opened 6 myself and found it to be an extremely fun break!

I loved this year's Donruss. More than previous years. Just a lot of fun. Opened 10 boxes of that stuff. I would not have opened that many but every box was giving me low numbered autos of Hall of Famers, and Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, Eloy Jiminez etc etc autos...

Might have to pull the trigger on Optic.

I haven't placed my order yet, but I'll probably do a case. I had skipped it last year as I was waiting for Prizm; which never came. It should be a fun break.

We are in the teeth of the baseball card season, where Topps pumps out about a product a week, now through Topps chrome. Money gets spread thin on the secondary market. This could be one product that actually doesn't shoot through the roof. I have never done this product on a large scale. Seen way to many take a bath at that $800-900 level.

I'd rather dive into a pool of broken glass than rip this swine.

Being told it is sold out already upon release, that coming from my distributor. Also I like the hot boxes, 4 per 12 box case. 2 have 5 autos and 2 have 20 numbered parallels.

I think this product will be a homerun for panini. Football and basketball both had a huge following this past year. I never buy into baseball, but I locked in at my local hobby shop for a case. The cards look fantastic and the checklist, amount of inserts, numbering of the autographs, hot boxes are more loaded than last years version. Also parallels fall 25 per box on average (non-hot box)

Wow! Panini stuff pretty much never sells out on low-end OR baseball stuff. The market is simply on fire. I did check with my dist., and they confirmed the sellout. Glad I got in for one case when I did.

Shocked that people actually buy ugly panini stuff with no logos!?!? Are they on card or sticker autos?
