Default Brady for Judge? Good Deal? You Be The Judge!

ok so we all know Judge has gone bonkers. His heritage auto has skyrocketed and is out of this world. I got a Brady black diamond pristine that I paid for $400 couple years ago but could get around $2000.00 now. I'm thinkin' should I sell it and get a Judge heritage auto?

Judge seems to be like he's going to be the premier power hitter of the next generation and is on the Yankees. If he continues being THAT GUY. His cards will continue to skyrocket. My Brady rookie is a good card but not a premier rookie card like an SPA or a contenders. I like it of course but i'm thinking ROI right now.

So what do you guys think?

He's fun to watch man. I have to slap myself sometimes for even taking a peak.

One guy cheated and one guy is up and coming for the best franchise in sports...I'll leave it at that. Judge.

Everybody cheats one way or another, athletes, doctors, lawyers everybody.

Brady was once compared to Jeter but that has come and gone. He's now compared to Mikey. Championships and off the charts stats.

But I like Judge. He seems like a good guy. Carries himself well. That's got to be hard to do being in the New York limelight at that age. I have some lower ends rooks but want to get an auto.

One guy is the GOAT and one guy has 28 career home runs and is 25 years old already. Unless he starts cranking out 60-70 homers a year for the next 10 years and winds up with 700 i don't see how you can justify the current price of his cards. If he hits 40 a year for the next 10 years he'll have 400 and be 35 years old. 400 career home runs isn't even that impressive anymore. I wouldn't get too excited in the hype. His cards have nowhere to go but down long term.

I hope Judge falls off quickly so the hype goes away and hurts a lot of purses and coin pouches

I don't know what I would do without Rog. He's already talked me off the ledge a couple times already!

From a guy sitting on tons of Oscar Tavares autos, I'd take the proven commodity in Brady.

Unfortunate things happen, players get hurt, slumps take place. I mean look at Schwarber, he was the "new hotness" two years ago.

Actually, this one (vs trout for contenders auto) is much closer

Black Diamond NFL is long forgotten. The TB RC in it is him jogging in practice gear. Horrible looking card.

The AJ Heritage Auto is part of a long running MLB Card tradition that is only growing in popularity

a pristine brady upper deck card will always be in demand and once training camp and the season starts that demand will only heat up. if you sold now you are selling in a quiet period for brady cards and buying at a peak for judge cards. from a straight financial angle you are buying high and selling low.

It's rational thinking. People are paying $12,000 for a guy who has 28 career home runs? Have people lost their minds? If he was 18 years old and doing this then that would be one thing but he's not. He's got about 10 years left, 6-8 years of being in his prime.

That's a really good point.

See i'm thinking of it as well I paid $400 so I got in at a good price. I would buy the judge auto raw for like $800 or whatever and pocket the difference. Judge could fall off the face of the earth. I doubt it but there's that possibility.

PLAN B

just buy up lower end judge rookie refractors (heritage). I think there's still alot of upside on those.

Yeah, don't listen to this. Keep the Brady. Do your self a favor and don't listen to the Yankees homers. Don't jump the gun on one of the greatest QB's for a player who's future is a mystery.

I still don't know why guys are pitching to judge anymore, just pitch around him or give him the ibb. no way he keeps it up for the full season, esp if he does the hr derby at the as game. I'd keep the brady, baseball is so bitcoin right now. IF you can sell the brady, get the judge to flip while the iron is hot and then get another brady down the road and still profit that is something I may do.

good advice. I'll just go with the lower end judge rookies I got. I pulled one out of a pack couple days ago numbered to 999. It's a nice looking card. Definitely a keeper.

spent 300 bucks already looking for that ahole in boxes of heritage.

I will say watching judge and having a few higher end cards of his has been a blast over these past couple months.

I personally wouldnt let go of the brady now.

But... this is a special season we are witnessing if you dont have any judge cards you should definitely pick one up

Default Brady for Judge? Good Deal? You Be The Judge!

I think depends man. If you're trying to profit quick dollars, Judge may be the best bet but if you're trying to hold onto the greats, Brady. Depends what you want and why. Although I agree may be the next big time slugger of this generation, it's so early but then again, it's his rookie stuff too.

If you can find another way to get one, I would venture down that path. Brady stuff will only continue to climb imo
