With news that Derrick Rose wants to play in Cleveland, if they replace Kyrie with a guy who can't stay healthy, they better hope they get a good backup PG because it's inevitable with Rose nowadays that he will get hurt and miss about 15-20 games.

If Kyrie wants to be the man, go ahead and trade him. As a Cleveland fan I would take a 35 year old Lebron over Kyrie in his prime if I had to choose one "leader". There are plenty of young players who would love to come play with Lebron, and even established vets who would be fine with 2nd or 3rd fiddle. Kyrie is a huge trade chip with 2 guaranteed years left. Cavs need to sit down with Lebron and work on scenarios to keep Lebron here and movie Kyrie for usable assets.

Exactly what I was thinking, but it's the PG position that is the sticking point, imo. They cannot rely on Rose, for example, to win NOW, and that's what they have to do to keep Lebron (happy).

No way they sign Kyrie while still having Isaiah. Isaiah will not play 2nd fiddle to Kyrie and vice versa.
